Some useful info

I liked how this referenced studies rather than just a lecture on how to be a good dad. Some of it, makes you feel guilty to be honest...where you think you may have been doing something good or correct, it's actually not the best way BUT this is why we read such books, to learn and this gives an insight into how to be a better parent for your children. Presence, tone, support, building their confidence, providing safety and repairing when we fail...which inevitably we will, because we are human!!

A eye opener

After reading this book I could see several parts of my life as a dad were lacking in how I interacted with my son especially in times of using my screens. And he seems to pick up on that. I have been trying to do better.
