Snow White has always been just that, white as snow. Pure. She's lead a domestic life in the shadow of her outspoken and voluptuous sister, Rose Red. With Rose now marrying Prince Marcus, Snow fears she'll be left with an empty heart and empty cottage.

One night, Snow gives in to her desires, but is caught by Marcus' brother, Prince Darien, as he witnesses her indiscretion. And together they tap into a part of Snow long buried.

But Queen Miriam, once betrayed by Snow's mother, sees the same thing happening again—this time with her son, Darien. She refuses to let her throne be taken from her a second time and sets out to kill Snow White. Darien must believe in the power of true love's kiss or lose his kingdom, and Snow, forever.

I really loved Snow and Darien as individual characters and as a couple. Snow is so sweet, caring, and innocent which made it fun to see her embrace her relationship with Darien. As for Darien, he's honorable and kind making him a perfect match for Snow. (Darien was definitely my favorite if the two brothers!) The plot twists and continuation of the story from the first book kept me very interested as well. I felt this story had a nice mix of erotica and storyline.

Hey ya'll,
So I just finished reading Bad Apple by the fabulous Wren Michaels and can I just say that Michaels work is amazing!

I enjoyed every minute of Bad Apple which picked up right where it left off in the first novella Unbearable. However, this time around the main focus was centered all on Prince Darien and the wholesome Snow White.

What I really enjoyed about this novella is how Michaels again took a classic iconic princess from the past and gave Snow White her own original voice. It was nice seeing how different each character was and how Michaels was able to push them, but maintain their individual personalities as well.

This novella like the first in my opinion should only be read by those 17 and older due to some sexual material written in the book.

Despite the sexual content the story-line was amazing overall. You get to see what happened between Rose Red and Marcus from the first installment of the series (Unbearable). All while seeing the love between Prince Darien and Snow White blossom into something more.

Another thing I really enjoyed about the character development was how Prince Darien was able to assuage Snow White's worries in whether he loved her or not. As a reader I liked that about this novel because you got more of a man caring about a woman's emotional state rather than someone who was self-centered and in it for themselves. This characteristic about Prince Darien made him even more lovable to fans of this series.

In my opinion Michaels has created another hit with this follow-up novella to her first novella in the series Unbearable. The characters are fantastic as always while the plot has so many twists and turns it will literally make your jaw drop. Bad Apple is sure to top the New York Times Best Seller List! If it hasn't then you people are missing out. This is a great, clear, and descriptive novella that continues to evolve and take things to new levels other books can only dream of reaching.

Have you read Bad Apple? What did you think? Or are you a fan of Wren Michaels? Let me know what you think of her other works! I want to hear what you have to say <3 Until Next Time ;*

I picked this book up the same day I got Unbearable. I wasn't ready to leave the world that Wren created and I had to see how Snow got her happily ever after. Snow wasn't anything like her sister. She was soft when Red was hard, sweet when Red could be deadly. She didn't think that she could find a love that blazed hotter than the sun.

Oh, how wrong she was.

Darien is perfect for her, in so many ways. I was happy to see him show Snow White just how pure of heart she was and full of fire her passion could be. Being sweet, kind, and loving was perfect for her. But he was the man meant to be hers, and with him she could let a bit of her naughty side out.

If she can stay alive long enough to kill him.

Here is where the villain was absolutely perfect, and a total add. I loved to hate her, and that, sometimes, means as much as loving the heroes. Bravo Wren. Bravo!

I was given this book in a giveaway.

I started this one immediately after finishing the first. Short and sweet, I couldn't put them down. Bad Apple picks up after the first one, continuing the story from Snow Whites eyes. This book was just as hot and sexy as the first, this time adding into the mix the innocence of Snow White. We get to revisit the passion of Rose Red, and see where she and her love have ended up together. In fairy tale re-telling, this book does not disappoint, giving us a sexy prince, an evil queen, and a rotten apple! Filled with steamy scenes, this is an adults only fairy tale that would be a perfect bedtime read!

In this twisted tale we learn of Rose Reds sister, Snow.Rose has always taken care of her, but when Rose and Marcus are to be wed, she knows not what to do with herself. When Rose introduced Prince Darien to Snow, she fell for him right away and he for her, but since the prince was next in line to inherit the throne he could not marry a commoner according to his mother ( the evil queen) or could he? Queen Miriam does not want them married for her own personal reasons...
This second book is just as good as the first....if you have read the tale of Rose Red, you must read Snows tales as well!

A Twist on Snow

5 stars is not enough for this! Fairy tails with a twist to them for 18+ but well worth it!!! It may be a short read but will keep you guessing at who the bad apple is.

Snow falls for a prince but soon finds out her love will not prevail. She runs but can't hide from evil and we all know Snows story.

This is a great and quick read and I would read it again and again! I like snows story very much and the different angle that Wren used.

18+ Mature Audiences Only

Immediately after reviewing Unbearable, I need to know what happened with Snow White, so I downloaded the book. Rose Red finally got her happily ever after, and Snow White needs one too!! Snow has always valued her purity and always relied on Rose Red. BUT with Rose Red married to Prince Marcus she feels alone. Prince Marcus doesn’t want his throne and thusly the newlyweds will displace Snow from the cottage in the woods.

I always felt that Prince Darien had an attraction to Snow White and since this a retelling we all know that Snow White is a princess. The current Queen is furious that Prince Marcus abdicated the thrown to be with Rose Red, and she is adamant that Prince Marcus doesn’t marry Snow White. Despondent the two fulfill one night and then Snow White would walk away knowing that Prince Darien would be a better King than his mother.

Betrayal surfaces and a whole new twist comes to light. Will everything be righted now? Will Snow White get her happily ever after? Read on and be as excited by the story as me.

Another 5 stars for Wren Micheals!!!

BOOK 2!!! I think I might have liked this one better than the first! It started off right where book 1 left off, but through Snow's point of view. I loved that we got to follow up with Rose and her hot love.
I loved Snow's innocence and her heart. I love the opposites of the characters and how well Wren was able to capture that. I liked watching Snow grow into herself and bloom under the love of the prince. The sisters are definitely easy to connect with and since we've grown up with this fairy tale - I love seeing the twist Wren spins on it. Very original.

sexy time read!!!!

Bad Apple by Wren Michaels is a wonderful retelling of Snow White's tale.

Snow White meets Prince Darien, but his mother, the Queen is not impressed with the "commoner" Snow White. Little do they know the Queens history with Snow's family.

Can Darien save Snow from the evil wrought by his mother? And can Snow save Darien from the darkness invading his heart and mind?

Snow White is one of my favorite fairy tales, and this retelling is absolutely wonderful.
