Another fantastic must read by the talented Ms. James for adult fans of fiction. If you love PNR with a take charge, kick-ass woman & alpha males, plus shifters (like me) you don’t want to miss out on this :D Moonstruck Secrets has a totally unique storyline with great descriptions, relatable characters & dialogue, twists & turns and plenty of action packed suspense that will keep readers engaged and turning pages! ... Plus, this author knows how to turn up the heat ;) Even tho I volunteered to read this, I have expressed my honest feelings without any outside influences. I highly recommend this to all fans of fiction & can’t wait to read more from this author.

I love these strong, brave Alpha males and their even stronger women!
Hannah Jackson is a Major in the Pentagon and she is dead set on protecting the wolves of the Army Special Sci-Ops Unit the 69th. There are evil forces set on exposing them for nefarious reasons. She is on a mission with a group led by Sargent Major Ian McIntire and although she is a total geek and never had a need for male companionship, she can't keep her eyes, or other parts from wandering whenever Mac is around.
Mac can't keep his eyes off the Major and all his blood heads south whenever she bends down to retrieve something he is on a very important mission to retrieve a captured wolf, but.....he is Moonstruck! What does that mean, it means the little Major is in for the ride of her life and there is nothing she can do to stop it, hell she doesn't want to.
Park Ranger Michael Lightfoot former sniper in Macs unit is now bound to protect all the creatures of his forest, but most important is the pack of Wild Wolves that have a litter. 2 pups are missing and he is surprised when he catches a whiff of some bad guys harming a little human.
Dr. Liz Graham a Wildlife Biologist has been taking pictures of the wolf pack and their litter in the den, when she is surprised and falls into something bigger than she ever imagined. But that big Park Ranger makes her belly flutter and she makes her intentions towards him known, no matter how much he tries to deny her. Little does she know what she is asking for from a Moonstruck wolf.
Little does she know the intrigue and suspense that awaits her and the unit as they reunite to bring down an evil they thought squashed 10 years ago.

Loved it
Major Hannah Jackson, is sent in to evaluate the 69th Army unit. An elite unit of special ops soldiers, and made up of wolf shifters. Major Ian McIntyre, "Mac" resents the general inspector who is evaluating his team, he is impressed by her. She has taken every challenge in stride. The field mission they are on goes sideways. Mac realizes Hannah is his mate. Hannah has secrets. Someone high in the government is targeting the 69th. Hannah is using her position to save them. Her unwanted mate and a baby has Hannah at the breaking point. Mac is determined to keep his mate and protects his child.
Fast forward almost a decade. The 69th has been disbanded. Former sniper Michael Lightfoot is working as a forest ranger. He finds his mate in a plucky scientist studying the local wolf pack. Pups have been taken. Then Liz is taken. Michael calls in help from his pack mates from the 69th. The faction who wanted to eliminate their unit, is active again. Michael and his former teammates need to stop them . The cost is high.
Fast paced and steamy. Loved Mac and Hannah and Michael and Liz.'s stories.

This is a combination of Book one and two of Silver's Moonstruck series. The two books are put together to flow from one book to the other. Mac and Hannah's story is first followed by Michael and Liz. I enjoyed this book, mystery, sexy , humor and paranormal all rolled into one. Also lots of suspense from beginning to end. Silver leaves the reader asking questions and anxious to read what happens next. Overall good story. Happy Reading!!

Betrayed and hunted
The teams have been hidden for centuries and now someone wants to use them or kill them. These Wolves get under your skin and their mates have that extra spark that keeps you guessing. There is sadness too when a much loved character dies defending a new mate.

Do not waste your $ buying this eread! The "preview" reads great; strong female character, actual plot, military team, interesting theory. Unfortunately, the "insta-mating heat" kicks in, revealing a 30!!! year-old virgin who goes from being a heroine you can respect to a sniveling coward with no brain, who NEVER stops crying for the rest of the story as soon as she has sex and gets pregnant. Really?!?! Super fucking annoying. I hate when authors do this.
The second half of the book deals with another member of the team and a different heroine, again with the "insta-love", tho this female lead is so bland who really cares what happens to her. And the author kills off the only decent female character there was in the story.

OMG, I can't believe I missed this when it came out. Shame on me. I loved these two books when they were released separately, but now, together with more stuff filled in between, everything is even better than it was. If you've read these before, read them again in this volume! If you haven't read them yet, what are you waiting for? Mac and Hannah with the very beginning. Little Liam coming into the world. Then Michael and Liz adding to the story. :happy sigh: And those evil Black Root dudes. I want those bastiges to be destroyed with much pain and hurting.

I love how she went back and filled in the holes in all the characters in the relationships especially that Mac and Hannah. We get to see how their story and relationship became so strong through the trials and tribulations.
