Review of advance copy
Maybe third time’s the charm?
Molly just wants to be wanted, and when her lease is about to expire, thinks this is the perfect time to move in with her boyfriend. Only he blows her off, and she ends up moving in with friends after another moves out. Well, mostly friends, as Garrett seems to dislike her. Only, he seems to dislike her boyfriend more. Slowly, Molly and Garrett first form a friendship that blossoms into more. So what happens when all Molly wants is for them to fully share a space and to know about Garrett’s past, and that’s the last thing he wants to talk about?
Molly and Garrett get their happy ending in this standalone book in a series.
These two! I understand why Garrett didn’t want to talk much about his past, but Molly had shown how different she was than what he thought of her, and they were basically living together already when she asked. I do wonder how much guilt Molly carried for bringing her ex into her friends’ lives after learning who he actually was. It would have been interesting to learn just what Garrett would do too with Molly’s parents for ignoring her like they did so much, but also, it’s clear that Molly wants nothing to do with them and her friends are her family now.
