Protecting humans from monsters is a dirty job, but somebody has to do it. And the payment is eternally priceless.
This is the Enchanted Immortals full set, books 1–4, plus the accompanying novella, all in one!
Each book details the backstory of one particular character while continuing to tell an ongoing front story about the Immortals, sylphs, vampires, and shapeshifters in both Portland, Oregon, and San Francisco, California. The accompanying novella covers the history of the BSI, who also plays a large role in the books. The books are written in a flash-forward type of storyline, containing everything from romance to mystery, and moves very quickly with a great conclusion.

The stories actually seemed real and who are we to be so arrogant and decide we are the only life force in this world or the universe. These books are worth reading and do make you think anything is possible, how often have you thought you caught a glance of something and then dismissed it thinking I've not had enough sleep what if you really did see something you can't explain. I'm not talking about aliens although who knows for definite that there are no aliens. Why are we so arrogant to think that we are the only life in this world or universe. More of this series is really needed because they are brilliant fantastic read never stopped until I read all four they are that good please write more. Stay lucky keep writing we will keep reading magdg.
I really enjoyed this series of books. I liked the way they were written and how the immortals came into being, the whole concept of the Fae as being monitored by a special branch of the government that includes immortals who are themselves a group made by the Sylphs also policing the vampires and shifters. The characters were very good and believable I enjoyed each book very much and would recommend this series to others who enjoy a good fantasy read with a different slant. Loved them.
There's no reason to torture yourself reading a badly written book. Although the basic ideas were good, the dialogue, word choice, character depictions, etc. were so miserably painful that I just had to bail out on this one.
I hoped it would get better but for immortals their kind of dumb. I became bored and lost my interest. I just couldn't take it anymore. Not worth my time.
I am a fan of fantasy stories Dragons, sorcerers, witches ,wizards etc. But once I started these books I couldn't stop. The stories are well done and if I did not have the aversion to vampires and werewolves I might have given them a 5.
