Amina is a superhero, or so she hopes. Her father was a notorious villain that plagued this city and brought great torment to its citizens. This is something that she hopes to remedy. Guided by her superhero grandfather, she struggles to redeem her family name and rid her city of the terrible scum that was brought upon by her villainous father.
I wanted to enjoy this, I really did. But the plot, what I read of it, was way too rushed and it felt like some exposition got cut, and there were quite a few grammatical errors (most glaring example: quotations from different characters squeezed together, not new paragraphs on their own) that made it very distracting. Hopefully it is better in print form than in e-book, although I seriously doubt it.
Writing style was poor, character interactions were poor, and no pacing. My first thought was high school writing project that May or may not have received a passing grade.
Best of luck to the author on improving her skills.
