The author, who grew up in the Cleveland area has compiled an extraordinary, breathtaking photos of the natural environment.
Each photo is accompanied by a magical, insightful, calming and serene prose (poetry) which is unique from nature books which I have previously read.
The author, Beth, has a gift to put into words and photos her great appreciation of the natural world around all of us.
I have become more aware and conscious of even the smallest plant, seed and bird in the environment. This book is very calming and presents a deep awareness of the world around me.
As a bonus, the book is divided by the 4 seasons.
You won't be disappointed with this book and I plan to re read it often.

Beth’s book is not only beautiful to look at, but inspiring. It reminds us to be more mindful of the world around us. Nature is everywhere and Beth reminds us of this. We need to reflect more in this world. Her book is uplifting and easy to read. I highly recommend it!! Elyn M
