She ran from a killer… and straight into the arms of a possessive Alpha who refuses to let her go.
Kee-Kee I was just trying to surprise my man… until I saw him murder somebody. Now I’m running for my life, hunted by a man who won’t let loose ends breathe. I crash into a stranger’s truck thinking it’s the worst thing that could happen, but Frank? He’s older. Dangerous. Too calm for the chaos chasing me. And the way he looks at me? Like I already belong to him. I should run from him too… but something in me won’t.
Frank I’ve built power, respect, and control over everything in my world— until her. One look at Kee-Kee and my bear locks in. Mine. She’s young, mouthy, and running from death… but I don’t care. Whoever’s after her better think twice. Because I don’t share. And I don’t lose what’s mine.
Protected by the Alpha Bear is the second installment in the Iron Den Security of Willow Creek where the guards fall for their beautiful clients.
Another whimsical, whirlwind romance full of some action! This quick paranormal read with a little spice and love! Can’t wait for the next installment!
This is one of the worst books I have read in a long time. I am very selective when it comes to paranormal books, and I prefer authors like Tessa Stone because she understands how to tell a complete story from beginning to end.
This book felt as though it started in the middle and ended before the actual story could begin. I honestly cannot explain what I read because everything was so rushed and underdeveloped. There was no believable connection between Kiki and Frank, and I still do not understand who Buzz was or why the character was important.
The author did not give the readers enough information about any of the characters—their backgrounds, motivations, relationships, or how they came to be involved with one another. There was no depth, no real character development, and no emotional connection. The book simply started, a few things happened, and then it was over.
The story was also extremely short, which made the lack of development even more noticeable. After finishing it, I looked through the reviews and noticed that the author has published several paranormal books, but the focus should be on improving the quality and development of the stories rather than simply releasing more books.
This book desperately needed a stronger plot, better pacing, deeper characters, and more detail. Unfortunately, I will not be reading anything else from this author.
Good read!!! I’ve gotten use to the short quick reads from this author. They jump right into what’s going on the fixer and the happily ever after. No more than an hour or so and it’s over. But good nonetheless the less….
I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read. Short but filled with drama and of course an HEA. Book 1 one was good and book 2 is even better. I hope the series gets better and better with each book.
