“Right up there with James Patterson, David Baldacci, Nelson DeMille and Frederic Forsyth.”
Elite hacker and amateur thief Sabot Mondragon has bumbled into the clutches of his former employers. Maybe he shouldn't have stolen billions in crypto-currency, though the outrageous heist made him one of the richest men on the planet. Sabot has no clue that the fate of the global economy is intertwined with his own. But he knows his odds aren't good.
Brilliant, brash, ballsy, and beautiful Special Agent Sam Jameson is hot on his trail, racing headlong into a buzz saw of intrigue and bad blood left over from the Cold War.
Will Sabot survive his vicious kidnappers? Can Sam stop the world's most secretive organization from pulling off a global coup in the wake of the sudden meltdown of the US dollar? Control of what's left of the tattered world economy hangs in the balance. Everything depends on Sam surviving a ruthless and brutal Mindscrew.
From the jungles of Central America to Moscow, Mindscrew's explosive action, razor sharp plot, and smart, sexy characters will keep you turning pages well into the night.

You know that feeling when a story gives you goosebumps? I love that feeling.
And the one where you read something that puts a lump in your throat and smoke in your eyes? I love that one too.
And the feeling that you know what's going to happen next, only to find out to your absolute delight that you couldn't have been more wrong? I love that feeling too.
I love reading stories that move me and challenge my assumptions and teach me something. I love the way a great author lures me in and takes me along for a fantastic ride.
I also love to write stories. It's how I spend my days and a good share of my nights, too. I'm on a quest to write the perfect story full of perfect sentences. I don't know if I'm anywhere close, but I enjoy the gentle struggle.
This series is amazing. Sometimes it's terrifying! You can put yourself right into the story with the characters and experience everything. Whether it's racing across continents or being tortured. Definitely not for the faint hearted. Thank you Lars Emmerich for another great read!
This is another winner from Lars Emmerich. The series continues with Sam and Brock caught up in a fight with bad guys. I loved the plot and the characters.
An amazing ball of string type of confusion well written!
I gave this totally confusing mass of interconnected story lines a five star rating because it kept me on the edge all the way through. I was irritated by the rehashing of the story at the beginning of each book. The premise of the story makes you wonder what could happen. I read all of the books and was intrigued by the story in every one. I really look forward to reading the future books in this series. The author is without doubt one of the new wave of stars. I was on the author's mailing list and received my first copy that way. It was so captivating that I was hooked from that point on. Bravos to Mr Emmerich you deserve all the cudos you are receiving.
This was a terrifically fast, corkscrew of a ride! It was like grabbing a ball of tangled yarn and having it all fall into perfect place in a magnificent moment. It also gave me pause more than once with the perception of reality in an apocalyptical way with the devolution of the dollar. Crap, that is a scary thought.
I can't wait for the next book. I have found a new author. After losing two favorites, I'm glad to add a new one! I'm enjoying these as much as David Baldacci, Vince Flynn or Tom Clancy. Thanks for a great read.
