The Heartless Alpha’s Beloved Luna

Rate this book
Avery watched her boyfriend Ryan cheating with her half sister Zara right
in front of her eyes on the Mating Day, the day she was meant to be claimed
by Ryan as his chosen mate.
The worse thing is that Ryan and Zara had the right to do so, because they
just found out they were fated mates. Heartbroken, Avery fleed into the
forest, only to fell into the arms of a dangerous stranger whose scent
triggered her mating heat.
Avery believed he was a rogue, so she just wanted one night of forbidden
passion in the dark and ran away the next morning without even knowing
what he looked like exactly.
However, after she got home, she panicked as she found out she was
marked by that stranger… Avery’s father threatened to kill her if she
couldn’t secure a husband who could accept her. Just when Avery thought
no one would want a marked girl, Alpha Gideon choose her as his bride, and
something about him just seemed familiar….

actually certifiably terrible

Look, I never write reviews. Even books I hate, I respect the effort an author put in. I’ve never managed to finish writing a book myself, so I almost always find something to give it 3 stars minimum. I only write this because I’m not convinced it isn’t AI “edited” on a crack screen iPhone.

This book? Hot, fuming, garbage. The typos were rampant and lazy. At one point the term “Luna” was consistently written as “Lama” ??? In a WOLF SHIFTER book with Luna in the TITLE. But ok, typos usually aren’t enough to turn me off. Read too many fan translations of manga.

Avery can’t win. She literally, LITERALLY, continuously kicked while down. She finds this strength to pull herself up to impress Gideon and earn the respect of his pack. Okay, I can do that, but then he’s also kicking (metaphorically) kicking her. Sorry, no childhood trauma or mate bond excuses how he treats her. IMHO there’s no coming back for him. I am not rooting for them to be together.

I strongly believe you can’t share a negative opinion without finishing the entire book. So I did. I read all 600 pages and I held out hope until the last 50 it would get better. Bottom line: Avery, Gideon proved who he was 20 betrayals ago. In this universe it really is all men. And most of the women.

Don’t read this if you’re looking for a romance.

the original villains from the opening scene- the half sister and boyfriend just disappear about a third of the way into the story with no mention of them again and no resolution to that plot line. Many plot lines keep drawing out the story needlessly. Horrible version of the miscommunication trope, with many many leaps of extremely illogical conclusions on both sides they just run with. then it ends abruptly with no conclusion to any of the issues that kept them apart for over a decade?

good until the part where she started ignoring him and acting a bit entitled and childish. she also refused to communicate effectively when gideon was quite open to it and made it obvious he would love to listen. also she knows he’s gonna through a lot in his life and cuts him no slack but gets so angry about her own past?? i don’t know she kinda pmo

I made it to chapter 199 and basically no progression into the story it was a lot of filler and repetitive conversations and situations. I don't think I can finish it, I will attempt too but it's becoming a very frustrating read

Incomplete novel

Filled with typos and incomplete. Won’t be buying another like this. So many sentences start but don’t end and the novel just cuts off, perhaps because the author lost interest. If it was a paperback I’d be demanding a refund.

Badly edited

This book is badly edited, repetitive, and all the characters are absolute idiots. Save your money and don’t bother with this book. It takes all the worst tropes and even messes those up.

editing errors and an unfinished story.

This could have been a good read, but lazy proofreading and editing were in the way. Also a story that began repeating itself with poor me patterns. Save your money, dont get pulled in.

Indifferent

I enjoyed the story line but for them both to be so clueless to being mates drove me up the wall. I need to see how this ends.

don’t waste your time.

Female lead goes through too much. It’s like the author enjoys tormenting her. Not worth your time if you are looking to escape.

While I am enjoying this storyline, it could have been condensed into one book and the plot is being very drawn out. I’ve skim read through parts that seem to drag on unnecessarily.

Very disappointed with the ending. 600 pages and the story just stops. Ugh
I can't read another book filled with so many grammatical errors not to mention such a gullible character.
