Yoshiki e Hikaru cresceram juntos em certo vilarejo.
Desde que Hikaru foi substituído por “alguma coisa”, a quantidade de impurezas passou a aumentar em todos os vilarejos da região. Para evitar que elas se espalhem, Yoshiki e os outros começam a agir para fechar os diversos “buracos” que ligam este ao outro mundo e só podem ser fechados pelo lado de dentro. “Hikaru” sugere utilizar sua conexão com Yoshiki, que não desviou o olhar da “coisa”, para fechar o buraco e retornar para este lado. Enquanto isso, Asako e Tanaka arriscam negociar com uma impureza, pedindo para que ela feche o buraco. No final deste volume, também há um pequeno conto inédito em que Asako pergunta a Tanaka sobre o “roedor”.

oh what the hell i had hopes but NOW WHAT. i mean, i guess they’ll just have to carry all their sins together as yoshiki promised.

the art is amazing as always and the horror is definitely in the room with me.

The creepiness level rises as in two locations..Hikaru/Yoshiki and Tanaka /Helper debate and then try to close the holes.

The story progresses and tensions are nicely heightened

Yoshiki's Arm....ahhh as much as i want them together but he's really mixing more day by day I'm so scared and worried for him!!

There are two teams trying to close up the holes to ???, team main characters and team likeable/fun characters. There’s also another team just trying to keep it together but they’re not holing it up. Another 5 ⭐️ read! I shouldn’t be surprised because all of tshd so far has been 5 star 😂 Gahh I should’ve waited to read this book until vol 8 came out because this cliffhanger is killing me and we won’t get volume 8 until October (unless you find somewhere to read it online but I hate reading manga online it’s too confusing). It’s been about 8 months since the last book came out and I forgot how much scarier the manga is compared to the anime. They really nerf the horror part in the anime and i’m still salty about how the english dub isn’t country (because they literally are country). Anyways i’m rambling now but 10/10 recommend this book

গ্রীষ্মের এক রাতে নির্জন পাহাড়ে হিকারু হারিয়ে যায়। সারারাত তাকে খোঁজাখুঁজি করেও গ্রামবাসী পায় না। হঠাৎ কীভাবে যেনো ফিরেও আসে একেবারে অক্ষত অবস্থায়! তবে সেই রাতের কিছু জিজ্ঞেস করলে হিকারু এড়িয়ে যায়। শৈশবের বন্ধুকে আর আগের মতো মনে হয় না ইয়োশিকির। বারবার মনে হতে থাকে তার বন্ধুর শরীর দখলে নিয়েছে অতৃপ্ত কোনো অস্তিত্ব। সত্যি কি তাই? কী হয়েছিল সে রাতে? কেন হিকারু গেছিল নির্জন বনে?

অ্যানিমে সিরিজ থেকে সন্ধান পাওয়া কিন্তু একটা একটা করে এপিসোড রিলিজের অপেক্ষা আমার ধৈর্য্যের বাঁধ ভেঙে ফেলে তাই মাঙ্গা পড়ে ফেলি। মাঙ্গা সিরিজে ভলিউম ৭টা। সিরিজ কিন্তু শেষ হয়নি, অসমাপ্ত রাখা হয়েছে। অ্যানিমে সিরিজের কাহিনী আবার মাঙ্গা থেকেও কম। অ্যানিমের শেষটা দেখে কনফিউজড হয়ে মাঙ্গার বাকি চ্যাপ্টার দেখতে যেয়ে দেখি কাহিনী তো আরও আছে কিন্তু বাকিটা কবে যে শেষ করবে? হিকারুর সাথে শেষে কী হবে, তানাকার ব্যাকস্টোরি, আসাকোর এবিলিটি নিয়ে এখনো জানার বহু কিছু বাকি।

হরর, মিস্ট্রি, একাকিত্ব, বন্ধুত্ব নিয়ে লেখা "The Summer Hikaru Died" ইন্টারেস্টিং একটা সিরিজ। শুরুতে যতটা ভালো লেগেছিল শেষদিকে অনেকটাই পানসে হয়ে গেছে কাহিনী খামখা টানার জন্য। গ্রামের রহস্য বিভিন্নজন বিভিন্ন ভাবে বলে কনফিউজড করে দিয়েছে। তবে শেষে আসাকোর বলা কাহিনী নতুন রহস্যের ইঙ্গিত দিয়েছে। আর এমন একটা জায়গায় কাহিনী শেষ!!!!! নতুন ভলিউম আসতে আসতে আগের কাহিনী মনে থাকবে কিনা এই নিয়ে আমি এখন চিন্তিত।
