Linda writes "white-knuckle fiction"--FBI thrillers with a twist of faith--from her home in rural Virginia. She's had careers as a government worker, a stay-at-home mom, and a journalist. Her husband, Larry, worked at the FBI Academy for over 25 years. Together they have three grown children. When she's not writing, you can find her walking in the woods, at the beach or doing something with grandchildren.
The author Linda White can tell a story. She can make you laugh and cry. I laughed and cried in all eight of the canine search and rescue books. The characters are rich in spirituality, love and kindness. There are lessons to be learned both by the people living in these books - and by readers - also living in the books. It is such a growth opportunity. I encourage you to become familiar with Linda White's writing. She is an amazing talent.
I enjoy a great adventure novel. The SAR searches, the detective and FBI searches. The interaction, emotions, and family discord. They keep a story moving. But I love the Christian theme that runs through White's books. They are more than just fill in dialogue. They hold messages for all of us. We will miss the wonderful work that Luke does, but he ended on a special final search and rescue. Training a new dog will be interesting. I'm also hoping Amanda and Henry work things out next book.
Life is complicated, people turn to things thinking that they need something to survive. The journey in this book opens up your eyes, to trusting in the one who made you. Twists and turns, sad and happy times, tough and tender times, but a story that will intrigue you. Enjoy
I loved this book and it inspirational read. I love this writer openly talked about God And Jesus our savior. It truly Is a wonderful book. Thank you. Pat McLean
I am not a 'true' dog lover, but I do like our neighborhood buddies. With that said, I have become engrossed in these stories of Luke, Jess et al; I get totally caught up in the drama and healing. Reading the faith journeys of Scott, Jess and now Henry, is inspirational and encouraging. I am a native of Virginia, so I try to pinpoint places, which gives me a sense of kinship with the 'family'. So looking forward to the next adventure.
Linda White is an incredible story teller!! If you are looking for nail biting, page turner books with Christian values, read this whole series. All My Bones Shook was book 8 in this series. I read it in two nights, staying up late because I couldn't put it down. I recommend starting at the beginning of the series because White does such a great job of developing her characters and their back stories. I highly recommend any and all of Linda White's books.
Excellent read! I loved this book as I have loved most of her books. Good story. Spiritually uplifting. It caused me to pray for my own faith in Christ and to surrender to Him my everything.
This was an emotional roller-coaster of a story with great characters, humor, drama, suspense, and intriguing twists. It's a great series. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
So this time there was a difficult situation that could have ended badly for all. It was almost the end of life. But there was a special gift brought into their lives. A pony! Now that's a nice way to end a story
Another good book! I love the excitement and challenges Jess takes on. She is getting better at telling Scott her intentions!! She used her head and overcame another predicament. You have to read the book to see what I mean!!
Many challenges but faith keep the people in this novel sf trong and resilent. The dog also was lend by God into rescuring the woman tied and dumped into the ruver.
