I was so excited to read this, that I bumped it to the top of my TBR as soon as I got my copy... and I was not disappointed.

Since this is book 3 in the series, it is kind of hard to write a proper review without spoiling book 1 and 2, but as always I will try to keep my review spoilerfree for this book.

I am so, so glad to see some character growth in Ennah now that she is coming into her powers more, and has to rely on herself more and more. After all she has been through, she is still a sweet girl, but she no longer seems to be too sweet for her own good.

The Leigh and Bartol storyline might be my favourite, despite wanting to yell at Leigh that she should just go for it. Love reading about her confusion and discoveries about her sexuality, and about possibilities regarding said sexuality. Leigh is such a strong woman, and how she will go through hell and back again for the ones she loves is just amazing.

I really like Kayetan, plus the forbidden yearning between him and Melena... but I have too many theories in my mind of where their storyline will go, so I am too scared to mentally form an attachment to them haha.

Overall this is a great third instalment of the series. It's a fantasy with great worldbuilding, all kinds of romance, some spice.. and A LOT of yearning. The book is multi POV and follows 3 different story-/timeliness that are unmistakably entwined, and it is brilliantly done. At no point does it become too confusing, and it just got me more immersed into this world.

I really recommend reading this series, and I cannot wait till I have book 4 in my hands!
