As a Sandman’s daughter, curvaceous Charlotte Winters inherits her father’s power to see into people’s dream and sometimes more. That’s why she always avoided skin-to-skin contact. One day, a man saves her from a traffic accident and Charlotte sees a vision of him and her making love, getting married and having children. Problem is her children aren’t completely human—they are lion cubs, and he is a shapeshifter. Problem number two: the man is the tall, dark and blond billionaire bachelor in town who swoons women off their feet with his good look and charity works. Freaked out of what she saw, she swears she isn’t going to be near him ever again. Ever!
Businessman and pride alpha, Daniel Addington is curious with a woman he saved to the point of obsession. When they touched, he felt the sparks, quite literally, and saw his future flashed before his eyes. But Charlotte is playing hard to get that he decides to kidnap her. She knows his family secret and Dani intends to keep it as secret. Plus that voluptuous body of hers and innocent face makes him drowns in lust as the beastly feline part of him wants to mark and claim that woman as his forever.

Lizzie Lynn Lee was a guitarist, receptionist, executive assistant, tarot reader, boutique owner, and graphic artist before she discovered that writing is her dream job. The advantage is that she can do it in her pajamas and socks.
She's an incurable chatterbox, heavy metal aficionado, bookworm, digital enthusiast, and a night owl since most of her stories were done in the wee hours of the morning because of her caffeine-induced insomnia.
These days she still plays her guitar whenever she gets bored staring at her computer's screen or plotting the most elaborate scheme of world domination. Fortunately, she has a chronically short attention span.
I gave up after roughly 40 pages (epub edition). Boring characters, highly unrealistic situations and behaviors, and the lines felt forced and all but natural. Plus, the story is rushing at an incredible pace.
Too bad, the plot in itself is pretty good. But reading it is a rather painful experience.
I enjoyed this story. It was an entertaining, quick read. The characters were fun and the plot was too. It had an interesting story line and while everything moves quickly, I thought it was pretty well done. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Have to admit, I wasn't happy with this story in the beginning. Daniel is a Lion Shifter & he just pissed me off!! Don't get me wrong, I love Dominant men! He came off so arrogant, narcissistic, demanding, shit I could go on. Alpha Shifters are definitely demanding, & can be extremely loving when it comes to their Mate & families. I wasn't sure how this would turn out.
Charlotte is a Dream Eater, daughter of the Dream Lord. Not only can she walk through dreams of others, she can see a person's future. And she's horrified to touch anyone & hasn't in a very long time. Until Daniel helps her after a car knocks her off her bike. When she touches him & she sees his future, only so does he. Charlotte is completely overwhelmed & takes off running! She spends a week avoiding him, his calls, flowers, invites to dinner, everything. Until at the end of the day she hears someone coming to her hidden, basement office & realizes it's him. How's she going to escape?
Daniel is determined to talk to Charlotte. She's not getting away from him, his patience is worn thin, she's ignored him long enough. She's his mate & he'll have her. He kidnaps her & brings her to his home with plans to Never let her get away from him. EVER! Really??
That's about where I put down the book, not sure if I'd finish. After feeding my family dinner I picked it up again & finished it.I'm glad I did. The story picks up & really gets going.
I hope you can get past the beginning & Enjoy it like I did.
Ok, honestly I didn't care for this one all that much. I didn't like the beginning to much and around the midway mark it's a little better. Then out of the blue it takes a big turn that I wasn't expecting. The story is very fast paced, and progresses rather quickly so overall a meh read.
Charlotte Winters is the daughter of a Sandman. When she touches someone she gets a memory glimpse and she doesn't like it because sometimes it's very disturbing. She avoids touching people as much as possible. When businessman and pride alpha, Daniel Addington, comes to Charlotte's rescue after a traffic accident, she has a vision of THEIR very steamy future, not HIS past. She doesn't know what it means but her first instinct is to run.
I love shifter stories and this one was very entertaining. This author writes a very complete short story. I can't wait to read the next one.
Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.
This was a new author for me. And now one of my favorite and go to authors... The storyline flowed and never a dull moment. Without giving to much away, we meet a curvy heroine who happens to be a sandman's daughter, and with a touch she can see into people's dreams and sometimes the future. Then there is the hot alpha lion shifter that after one touch is addicted to the heroine and will anything and everything to make her his. This worked so well in this book. I finished this in one sitting. If you love hot alpha male shifters who will do anything for their mate, this book is for you.... Great short quick read...
I liked the premise of the story. A hot alpha lion shivered who has had everything he's ever wanted gets denied the one thing that's truly his. His mate. Who ahppens to be an inexperienced virgin. I loved this plus sized chick even though I wanted to slap her silly. She was self conscious alot of the time but she was funny. Her surprising gift was very useful. What I didn't like was that their scene felt rushed. Everything actually felt rushed. What also was hilarious was thatbhe had to resot to kidnapping. That was new.
Charlotte Winters is a sandman's daughter and has inherited her father’s sense of touch to see another's dreams and thoughts so she tries to keep to herself. It is working until a driver hits her on her bike and Lion shifter alpha Daniel Addington comes to her aid. As soon as Daniel touches her he knows she is his ,but can he make Charlotte see that ? Also Daniel’s step-brother Jeremy would do anything to hurt Daniel, what happens ? I enjoyed this story very much, read it in one sitting ! I was gifted a copy for an honest review barwatts@telus.net
He harasses her at work... ok Kidnaps her and takes her to his place... ok Moves all her stuff into his place without her permission...ok Blackmails her into getting leave from work... ok Locks the doors so she can't get out of his home... ok
I just want to say i read the previous two in the series and loved them. The sweet, caring quality from them is missing here though. No words of love have been spoken and the heroine is a virgin but without a care he just rams home and she loves it...
And I move on to a next book that will hopefully be sweeter.
Fast paced, story progresses rather quickly. Snow balling to the middle where it evens out. The situations are a bit crazy and a little unrealistic for everyday events but hey it's a romance. We all get carried away. Now about the 80% mark of the book and it takes a left turn. Seemed a little more...extreme than I was expecting it to. Got a little lost in the detail at that point but the ending is great. looking forward to the next one!
Overall I thought it was a good story. The main characters Daniel and Charlotte were developed enough that I cared about what happened to them. Alpha lion knows who he wants and goes after her and Charlotte has her own special gift which helps to save the day. Although it was a short story it was fast paced and I felt everything was resolved that needed to be. I'm interested to read other work by this author.
This book is part of the bundle: Supernatural Billionaire Mates Vol 1
This is the 3rd book in the Billionaire series As soon as Daniel touched Charlotte's hand, he saw their future together. ( 3 little cubs) After that, Daniel could not wait to mate w/ Charlotte. Charlotte was dragging her feet. I was glad that Charlotte woke up + smelled the coffee. It took her almost dying to change her mind about Daniel.
I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Lizzie Lynn Lee.
Charlotte Winters considered herself a freak because she could see into peoples dreams. When a persistent man sees his future with Charlott he does everything he can to convince her she is his. But disaster strikes and soon things change for the pair but will it change things for the better or worse.
I loved the characters and the interaction between them. This is for mature readers.
Charlette being the sandmans daughter she doesn't want to get close or touch anyone. She just don't want to walk through their dreams or see anything she might want to forget she ever saw. Least of all Daniel when they touched she saw a future with him including children. She alway saw something she wished she never saw. She's trying to stay away from him but he's not giving up that easy. He makes a deal to help her to control her powers if she would stay by his side always?
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was entertaining also it had a different elements that I hadn't seen before in a PNR dream eater which added a nice twist to the story. It had everything that a great read should have hot alpha male, lies, deceit, betrayal, and family drama. Looking forward to reading more in this series.
Daniel is a bulldozer chasing after Charlotte. Quite funny and also a bit off putting. Charlotte is a real wallflower and mouse and seems to just go along with Daniel without realising she is doing it. I really hated what happened to her and thought Jeremy was let off too lightly. He and his mother should have been dealt with more harshly not allowed to go off with their own minions.
I actually liked this one more than the previous two. Daniel does not take no for an answer and although at first Charlotte is not too happy about this she soon changes her mind.
