I’m fine. Really.
My latest breakup? Not a big deal.
Which is why I still took the trip—the one where I was supposed to get engaged. Alone. Totally normal.
Getting mugged in Mexico? Also not a big deal. Sure, I can’t remember where I’m staying, but I’ll figure it out. I always do.
At least there’s a broody, mysterious stranger who says he’ll help me.
Problem is… I’m not sure he’s on my side—especially when our faces start showing up on the news for a crime we didn’t commit.

Romance ❤️🔥: LV 2 Kisses only (Longer Makeouts lightly descriptive)
Violence ⚔️: fist fights, gun fight, pg-pg13 level I felt like none of it was overly descriptive
⚠️Death of parent, Drug use, Child Neglect/abuse, Car Crash, Kidnapping, Anxiety, estrangement from family, grief, I felt like all of this was handled well and not overly descriptive in my opinion⚠️

My Thoughts:

OH MY GOODNESS! I DEVOURED this story! It was packed from beginning to end with action and moments that caused me to laugh out loud! Thea and Pierce’s interactions through out this book had me laughing out loud and then swooning the next moment! This book has humor to keep you laughing but the action and danger to keep you turning the page to see what happens next and keep you on the edge of your seat.
The predicaments that lead these two together and then continue throughout the story just are hilarious. I like have so many things I want to talk about but don’t want to spoil anything so you can fully enjoy all the twist and turns as well as hilarious moments this book takes you on.
Not only did this book cause me to laugh and smile kicking my feet happily it really dives into some deep thins as Thea and Pierce both grow through out this story. Thea is just what Pierce needs as she breaks now his walls piece by piece and Pierce is just perfect for Thea.
The fake marriage is probably just my favorite. That first kiss 🤩 perfection and swoon worthy! I was absolutely here for all of Pierce’s protective moments, and jealousy at times.
I just can’t say enough good things about this book! I’m so excited for you to be able to read this story! Then come and chat with me all about it because I’m now dying to talk about it!
Jenessa has definitely done it again with this book and you won’t want to miss it!
