I was sent this arc in the mail and it's so beautiful 😭😭 I'm so excited to start it!!

I received this book as an Arc and It’s GORGEOUS! A beautiful pink book💕🌸 and packed really well! I was so excited to read this book ! The plot of the story is really good it gives me outer banks vibes almost,like a thriller summer romance kind of vibes! I did give this 3.5 stars because I felt like there was a bit of potential for growth as this is her first novel, because I felt there was a disconnect between the narrator and the characters so often times there was a lot of repetition going on where the narrator would later repeat something we had already knew from previous chapters. There was overall a lot of Repetitive themes whether it was in terms of dialogue or scenes. I often thought to myself “wait didn’t I just read this scene “ a few times through out the story! & in terms of Dialogue I felt like the same conversations or sentences like “she knew” were being used over and over to the point that I was becoming really aware of it. But besides that I feel like towards the end when more of the real progress and action took place I actually really enjoyed the book and became more curious as to what happens next! I’m really curious about the parents to be honest and Id like to see more of Maple Lake & dive more into the info we collected in book 1 & that twist at the end ?????? HELLOOOO ? 👀I read this pretty quickly so I can’t wait for part 2 👀 I’d recommend this to anyone who’s into a mystery,summer, friends to lovers vibe!!!
