Después de la pequeña excursión en el camping, parece ser que todo terminó bien para todas las parejas👀 tanto que incluso la cosa acabó con Iori y Yuki viviendo juntos😱

Yuki está felicísima de la vida (obviamente vaya JAJAJ) pero no todo es un campo de rosas, tiene muchas cosas en la cabeza porque claro, ahora pueden compartir más tiempo, pero tienen que administrar bien los gastos y muchas otras tantas cosas como por ejemplo...hablarlo bien con sus padres.

Aunque Yuki ya le estaba dando vueltas a este tema, pero dejándolo correr, parece que Iori no ha terminado de darle al coco con algunas cosas y eso a ella le inquieta, porque claro ahora viven juntos, pero... ¿él se estará tomando en serio todo esto?

Como Iori parece tan despreocupado y sus otras relaciones no le dejan un buen historial a Yuki le preocupa que él no vea el peso que tiene esto en su relación. Pero, ¿qué piensa Iori al respecto?

Iori piensa muchas cosas desde luego😂porque el final del tomo a mí personalmente me ha dejado totalmente tiesisima, vamos no me esperaba esa declaración tan firme, este chico nunca deja de sorprenderme.

Este tomo ha sido una caja de sorpresas, pero vamos, me ha encantado, para no variar. Me gusta mucho el rumbo que está llevando la historia y cómo se va desarrollando.

Y debo ser sincera, aunque los amo, quiero mi boda y espero que tengan muchos retoños, me gustaría tener noticias más pronto que tarde de que va a ir cerrando la cosa. Más que nada porque al ser una historia que me gusta tanto siento que si la alargan demasiado puede estropearse, no sé si entendéis el sentimiento.

Pero bueno, mientras sigan sacando tomos aquí voy a estar yo al pie del cañón con estos dos tortolitos.

I still love the art, the characters, the pacing is okay, but the budding friendships and relationships are great.

Recap: Yuuki and Iori are now living together, Yuuki's mom throws a fit about the news, Y and I have a Christmas at home together, Yuuki confesses that she's working more to cover increased rent, Iori says she doesn't have to but she's adamant. Their friends have issues with communicating so Iori gets involved. Yuuki's dad shows up and she agrees to go home for New Years, Iori runs out and asks to go to her parents' to visit on NY too. They go, Iori ends up staying at Seno's grandparents' inn and helps out. Yuuki and her parents come help. Yuuki tells her mom that she'll be okay if Iori ever dumps her, Iori overhears the conversation. Next day, Yuuki leaves for her uncle's for NY money, Iori talks with her parents and admits that he's dating her with the intention of getting married.

Je dois avouer que j’ai un peu moins apprécié ce volume, bien qu’il reste tout de même intéressant. J’ai eu l’impression que c’était un passage obligatoire pour avoir une suite plus passionnante, comme une sorte de pont vers le prochain volume qui je l’espère sera plus intrigant. Néanmoins, je reste toujours aussi attaché à Yûki et Iori !

Finalmente siamo arrivati a un nuovo volume di questo manga!
(Si ma...editori italiani...è di giugno 2025...siamo ad aprile 2026...INSOMMA!!!)
Come sempre, queste uscite così distanti l'una dall'altra sono penalizzanti per la storia, che si perde in così tanti mesi di vuoto...
Ma parliamo della storia!
La storia dei due protagonisti è sempre più tenera e complice, ma è ora di affrontare la realtà e cosa ne pensano i genitori della ragazza...all'oscuro fino a poco tempo prima della storia seria intrapresa e della convivenza.
Il capitolo è ben scritto e anche l'episodio di Capodanno è di per sé carino...Il problema è il suo finale con il botto!
Quanto dovremo aspettare per avere il nuovo volume e sapere come andrà a finire?

The art for this series is absolutely beautiful. The story is fine, even great in certain parts, but the problem I keep having with this series is in a month or twos time I’ll remember the art and I’ll have to skim to remember the story. That’s because nothing about it truly stands out. It’s been done before and will be done again. So for me it’s an average 3 stars. I hope and want to be proven wrong with the next volume.

Sous des dehors hyper classique de comédie romantique pour jeunes adultes, You're my soulmate aborde quand même des sujets rarement montrés dans les mangas chez nous et on peut l'en remercier. 

En effet, les fans de romances ont l'habitude de voir des collégiens, lycéens, même étudiants désormais tomber amoureux, se chercher, se mettre ensemble, mais ont rarement l'habitude ensuite, hors boys love, de voir leur relation évoluer au point d'emménager ensemble et de questionner cet emménagement. A la limite, on retrouve parfois des couples adultes déjà installés, mais la fraîcheur de ces premiers temps, surtout avec un couple jeune comme le nôtre, on l'a rarement ! Je suis ravie de voir le segment travaillé.

Pour autant, Anashin n'est pas non plus une autrice très critique et fouillée. Nous sommes plutôt avec quelque chose de très doux et facilitant. Tout se passe bien entre Iori et Yuki. Ils trouvent facilement leurs marques. Il y a bien la question de l'argent qui est abordée mais c'est à peu près tout. Et d'ailleurs, on se retrouve vite à suivre Yuki dans un schéma de gentille petite bobonne qui aime accueillir son compagnon et lui faire des petits plats, sans qu'on nous montre la réciproque, qui m'a un peu horripilée... Comme si c'était le rêve de chaque femme... On pourrait évoluer un peu, s'il vous plaît ? 

Bon en revanche, leur motivation d'emménager ensemble pour passer plus de temps ensemble est réussie. Cela m'a plu de les voir un peu dans ce quotidien. Chacun continue d'évoluer, surtout Iori, qui confronté à la famille de Yuki, qui a appris leur emménagement après se pose des questions auxquels il tente de répondre en étant lui-même. J'ai apprécié sa franchise, moins son évolution vers ''je veux devenir le beau-fils parfait'' car celui induit encore cette idée que relation et emménagement = mariage. Rah ! J'en ai un peu assez de cette normalisation trop facile, trop évidente, ne prenant pas en cause l'évolution de nos sociétés vers plus de liberté et souplesse dans les modalités du couple. On se retrouve encore avec un bon gros modèle patriarcal hétéro, surtout quand ici les parents râlent car pas consultés ou peur pour leur fille.... *lève les yeux au ciel* .... même si l'autrice essaie de le déguiser pour le rendre ''plus moderne'', on voit bien ce qu'il y a derrière. C'est comme ça qu'on se retrouve avec la fameuse dernière phrase pour prouver son sérieux, ses intentions. Evoluez !

A côté, heureusement, l'autrice pense également à nourrir les autres personnages, et au milieu de leurs histoires de couple qui emménage, il y a Sanae et Kaji qui nous jouent un bon petit mélodrame, en obligeant nos héros à être leurs oreilles et leurs entremetteurs. C'était à la fois touchant et rigolo, mais surtout ça permet d'avoir un potentiel nouveau couple à observer et de ne pas être que centré sur Yuki et Iori, ce qui est bien aussi. Ça permet d'avoir de la diversité, bon une diversité relative vu qu'il n'y a qu'eux et que c'est encore un couple hétéronormé... mais on prend. 

Arrivant sur un segment peu exploité en shojo manga pour jeunes adultes, le titre nous propose de continuer à suivre en douceur, avec bienveillance, l'évolution du couple de Iori et Yuki qui vit désormais ensemble avec les questions et thématiques cela soulève. L'autrice fait malheureusement très souvent le choix de la facilité, pour ne pas dire du cliché du couple hétéro visant le mariage avec une bonne dose de patriarcat caché. Pour cela, elle pourrait évoluer. Il n'y a pas que la femme qui doit être impatiente de retrouver son compagnon et qui a envie de le chouchouter à coup de tâches ménagères... Il n'y a pas que le mariage comme aboutissement à une relation... Une relation a-t-elle besoin d'aboutissement d'ailleurs ? Bref, derrière des personnages sympathiques dont on est content de suivre les nouveaux défis, il y a quand même quelque chose de trop classique qui aurait pu, aurait dû être modernisé.

Quality-wise, we are so back. Emotional-trust-wise? I need a minute.

I honestly don’t know how this series managed to recover after the absolute rollercoaster of questionable choices in the last two volumes, but here we are! Volume 7 actually did a complete 180 and gave us all the wholesome, top-tier manga staples: Christmas, New Year's plans, moving in, and meeting the parents.

But I’m not going to lie—I still have a bit of emotional whiplash. Because the drama in the previous volumes felt so childish, the sudden shift to pure bliss didn't feel entirely organic. The characters (even the supportive side crew) took a heavy hit recently. We have gone from the extreme of "nobody talks to each other" to this volume's special, offered to us by Sanae and her beau: "we have a misunderstanding via text message that is immediately resolved in front of an audience."
Guys, you are in your twenties! Who hashes out their relationship drama via phone text and the next minute in a group setting like it's a corporate meeting? (Teenagers, maybe...! And that is a big maybe, because this level of ridiculous is an achievement of its own accord). Not to mention it felt hollow because—an issue all over for this series—it had zero consequences for their growth.

On the bright side, Iori finally found his backbone again and remembered how to adult, which was refreshing. Yuki is still acting a bit young for her age, but hey, no major damage done. Overall, there were cute, wholesome moments in the right direction, which (twitching and blinking heavily) gave me hope for the future!

Except for that cliffhanger... please, I beg of you, again, you are twenty (-ish) years old! Why is that the ultimate conceivable and acceptable reason to a parent for them to share an apartment?! The end goal, and the beginning lookout for relationships, is their substance, not the ink on a piece of paper.

Beh, c'è da dire che Iori non è proprio uno che le manda a dire...
Siamo arrivati al volume dedicato al natale/capodanno (letto mentre ci sono 50 gradi all'ombra 🫠): sto cercando di non fissarmi troppo sulla velocità con cui si è evoluto il rapporto tra i due protagonisti, perché francamente la cosa mi lascia perplessa. Anzi, la cosa lascia perplessi pure i genitori di Yuuki, che chiamano a rapporto la figlia per discutere di tutta la faccenda. Iori decide di accompagnare la fidanzata per presentarsi ai genitori e spiegare bene le sue intenzioni (certo, poi il capodanno lo passano a dare una mano ai nonni di Seno nel loro albergo super affollato, ma questo è un altro discorso...Iori non è mai stato in grado di piantare in asso qualcuno).
E se Iori sgancia la bomba del matrimonio, ho trovato molto interessante il discorso di Yuuki: la convivenza rappresenta un passo importante nel suo percorso di maturazione e di responsabilizzazione (a livello non solo sentimentale, ma anche economico e lavorativo). E anche se le cose con Iori dovessero prendere una brutta piega (ne dubito, ma ok), ne sarà comunque valsa la pena, perché questa rapporto le sta dando tanto e lei non ha alcuna intenzione di tirarsi indietro, anzi, vuole costruire una relazione alla pari. Iori, dal canto suo, si è confidato con Seno e la sua sincerità ha fatto breccia del cuore del ragazzo, e quindi penso proprio che riuscirà a fare colpo anche sui genitori della fidanzata. Diciamo che è un tipo che non si tira mai indietro e che sa farsi apprezzare. Vedremo un po' quali risvolti ci saranno dopo la sua dichiarazione 🤔

P.s.: sembra che anche l'amica di Yuuki, Sanae, abbia trovato l'uomo giusto per lei...

It took so long for the last chapter to be released that I had to go back and re-read the first part of the volume to remember where we are in the story. While there is some drama over Christmas with their friends, it all seems to work out for the best. Meanwhile, it turns out Yuuki still doesn't have her parent's actual permission to be living with Iori, resulting in a rather awkward first meeting with her father and an even funnier introduction to the rest of the family over New Year's. Oddly, Iori seems to be getting some good advice from some unlikely places, but both of them still have a habit of trying to handle things themselves instead of talking together first and approaching things as a team. Something they'll need to work on over time, though it looks like Iori may be doing slightly better at thinking more long term than Yuuki has managed so far. We're left on a cliffhanger while Iori is alone with Yuuki's parents and seems to be diving off the deep end willingly with them. Just what exactly is Yuuki going to return home to?

Oh my gosh this was just so brilliant and heart warming, Yuuki and Iori were so cute together and the life they are building together was lovely. The way Yuuki was just going to make a life with Iori, and not talking to her family was hilarious. Iori was such a gentleman and wanting to get to know her family better, he really stepped up to make sure that they were not nervous about Yuuki's plans. The art was beautiful as always and the characters were so lovely and warm. The story is so fun and intresting, with the bomb shell dropped at the end makes me want to know what will happen next. This was so worth the read and so enjoyable.

Putting a 4⭐ cause it felt like less was happening in this volume. But the previous (vol.6) was heavy, with lots going on. This one - I would say- serves as a transition; calmer, slower, to have some time to breathe after a big volume, and hopefully be ready for big things in the next!

But I still absolutely give a 5⭐ to the story! I hope that for the next volume(s?) we will have more time with Yuuki and Iori, maybe see a bit more of Sanae and Ibuki too (but I just love him, hope to see him all lovey-dovey, could be fun!).

I genuinely am still enjoying this series, although I'm not totally sure where it's going. We now have a lot of secondary characters whose arcs have been resolved, and I feel like they are all being underutilized. To be honest, I feel like the arc of the whole story has been resolved. I do like getting some amount of content of an established couple, but at this point, the plot feels a bit tired. I will still be reading future volumes, but I'm not sure I see this continuing to be as entertaining as it goes on.

The art is so beautiful. Every man, including her dad, is so handsome. I like the intimate moments, she has the typical shyness I expected from the non dominate person in the relationship but she also enjoys it which feels rare. This volume made me just say men though. Both of them, not making their intentions clear and being silly and selfish in certain ways.

But I can't get over the paying half when she works one off jobs... I swear I just kept saying that isn't 50 50 then.

I like the art more than the story I think.

OMG, what?! NO! That ending is illegal! You can't drop a bombshell just like that!
This was such a sweet book, christmas and new years together, finally all moved in, but dang! And I thought my parents would be weird about when I move out lol! I honestly can't get enough of these characters. Seno is such a complex character but i do think we are set on the I love him lol! And Ibuki! Man was he hard to understand but he's finally chilled out and I'm happy to say, he's such a great older brother! But Hiro! mY DUDE! lol too funny!
I'm so excited to continue seeing these couples grow!

Voilà ! Ce tome est génial ! Tout progresse vite ! Enfin on passe aux étapes supérieures ! Iori et Yuki qui s'installent ensemble ! Iori qui rencontre la famille de Yuki ! Kenji et Sanae qui s'avoue leurs sentiments. On a un vrai tome de shojo là ! On a attendu plus de 6 mois pour ce tome, heureusement que cette attente en valait la peine.

I saw the ending coming and it still had me just as giddy. Even now, every time i remember it, its effect is not lost on me ehehehhehheee. There are a number reasons for why but I’m too lazy to list them because it’s exceeding my brain’s capacity at the moment and I would do the writing an injustice to not express it in its full splendor, so to put it simply, Anashin’s just too good man.

Tenim un petit parèntesi de drama Sanae i Kaji, que no acabaven de fer el pas, però per fi ja són parella.
