"I don't want your submission, Amaria," I murmured, staring down at her exposed throat. "I want the war in you. The ache. The fire. The part that thinks it's too much—because that's the part of you I'd kneel for."

To sum it up for my trope lovers:

Indie author in my villain origin story era. Morally gray FMC energy with a 'knife-to-the-throat' vibe and a “burn the world for the ones I love” devotion.

I'm now choosing sovereignty over compliance daily and I will not apologize for it or ask permission.

To my readers:

“Let them have their villain. I will be theirs and everyone else’s. But never for you.”
— Slade Ravinger

For those who enjoy diving deeper:

I’ll attempt to solidify some of the prominent experiences that contributed to the creation of this series:

Foundationally, I have formal education in the following: creative writing, screenplay writing, visual arts, philosophy, and political science.

Public exposure that has contributed: my experience in the music industry, experience as a professional screenplay writer and associate producer, a published author, and our favorite artistic ingredient: pain and suffering.

Internal world attribution: lineage-based tantra training, lineage-based shamanism guidance, traditional teacher training in Kundalini yoga, and lastly, I’ve landed in my home of Shaktism, with my beloved Kali Maa.

As you can imagine this catastrophic combination of experiences led to being: a full-blooded anarchist, painfully rebellious, a bleeding sensitive heart, magical af, reclusive, with a strong dose of feral.

And lastly, on a personal note: this series represents my coming into sovereignty and my liberation. I fought armies of inner demons to be here with you today.

I welcome you into my realm with open arms and heart offered freely. May you fall in love, may you cry, may you laugh, may your soul be reforged. May we taste unity and liberation for just a moment together as we co-create as reader and writer.

🖤Forced proximity
⚔️ Enemies to lovers
🖤 Fated mates
⚔️ Found family
🖤Banter for dayssss
⚔️ The slowest of slow burns

The Binding picks up immediately where The Lost Thread leaves us with Maxx, Serenya, Caden and Amaria escaping the kingdom but leaving Eryndor behind to seal his fate with Vivienne, his bride to be. They need a plan to go back and save Eryndor from his bride to be and his father, and as luck would have it an opportunity presents itself rather quickly. The rest of the book focuses on executing the prophecy so that the Veil can be saved.

I enjoyed the whole trilogy but book 2, The Lost Thread, was my favorite. It was more character-driven and I'm a sucker for great characters. The Binding was truly the culmination of all the set up and anticipation that built in the previous books. I don't want to spoil anything but the ending was not at all what I expected, and I was okay with that 🙃

Dorrington could write a master class in slow burns 🔥 In the 1st book our MCs were true enemies and that continued for about 80% of the 2nd book, and then they finally became lovers only to have their love ripped away. I don't want to spoil book 3 but I'll just say you get the pay off you've been waiting for 😏

A few of my favorite moments from The Binding:
*The dog thinking it's a dragon 🐉
*"Coincidental proximity" 🐶 🐉
* Amaria and Eryndor testing their new armor 🥵
*Serenya bonding a dragon 🐉
*Maxx's rant about cheating death and the team bonding that follows 😅
*"Bring her back" 😢

I’m giving The Binding by Celeanne Dorrington 4 stars, it was such a strong continuation of the story. I loved how many layers this installment brought in, especially the memory loss arc, the dragons, and the vivid magical elements throughout. Everything felt immersive and emotionally charged, and the stakes stayed high in a way that kept me invested the entire time.
My only real issue was the ending. After so much buildup, the final confrontation with the king felt rushed compared to the rest of the book. There was noticeably more time spent on the rebonding scene than on the actual battle, which threw off the pacing a bit. That said, I did enjoy the happy ending, and the epilogue completely won me over, it teased just enough of what’s next to leave me wanting more. I’m especially hoping we get more of Dreadscale in future installments.

Thank you Celeanne Dorrington, again, for the ARC of this trilogy. I can’t believe I finished them. I’m going to have to reread them just to live in that world again.

I loved this series. My heart hurt, was ripped out, thrown in the void and spat back out and it was worth it. In the best possible way.

The enemies to lovers, the yearning, the friendship turned into found family. It was perfection.

Amaria- fierce badass fmc.
Eryndor- hot, self-sacrificing mmc

I seen myself in both characters.

Serenya- my heart was breaking for her and I loved her.
Maxx- WHAT A MAN.
Dreadscale- ugh. I need one.

I loved these characters, I loved their growth, and their love and protectiveness of each other.

11/10 would recommend.

Book 1 reels you in, book 2 breaks you open, book 3 devours you. This book is perfect. This series is perfect. This stays unpredictable in the best ways and is such a beautiful end to this trilogy. The banter in this whole series is delightfully unhinged and the slow burn is to die for! This has everything we love from the first 2 but turns it up a notch with action and the journey of fulfilling a prophecy. Mark my words, this series is the next to blow up. So so excited for what comes next from Celeanne!

This final book of the Heir of the Shattered Veil was written to perfection. It tied up all the loose ends. Keep me wanting more the entire read.

Amaria and Eryndor have a beautiful complicated love story. I have fallen in love with this story that I was sad to see it end.

This is definitely a type of romantasy you won't find anywhere else. Celeanne keeps you on the edge of your seat and doesn't let up when things get going they keep rolling. There wasn't a spot where I lost interest.

10/10 recommend 👌

I am so thankful to the author for providing book 3 ARC at the same time as book 2 ARC. I don’t think I would have survived the emotional roller coaster having to wait.

Book 2 was meant to break you. Tear you down and make you feel lost. Book 3 was literally the Binding. It pulls you back together.

Our ragtag rebels have been knocked down. Eryndor is married, Caden is broken, Serenya is forgetting, Maxx is terrified and Dreadscale is having to face what’s happened to his people. Amaria is finally ready to let her walls down. Shes not hiding anymore but fully embracing her destiny and the one meant to walk the path with her. Eryndor sacrificed so much for her, she now realizes and is prepared to do whatever it takes to get him back.

We’re heading to the last stronghold, Dreadscales homeland in Skal’Varin to regroup, plan and find a way to save the world. We get more dragons, more bindings and more creature friends.

We get the climatic battle with the king, where it seems like all hope is lost. We see all of our characters who have been fighting their own battles, come into their strengths and be willing to give it all for the ones they love. We see the prophecy (which looks grim but we’ve seen it change once, it can change again) come into full swing and all the pieces connect one by one. The Griffins, the Red Wolf line, all of it coming together.

The cliffhanger at the end for a future series had me gasping. I did not expect the story to continue in that way but i’m stoked to see what a new / spinoff would entail! More of these characters would be amazing.

Spoilers Below ************

We finally get our HEA!!!!! Amaria and Eryndor finally are able to mend their bond fully the way it was supposed to be. The true mirrored pair fighting for centuries to return to one another. Now they get to simple be together. Serenya regains her memories and is with Maxx and Dreadscale. She has her own dragon, they have the hatchlings, the dog and Dreadscales two dragons. Caden is healing, choosing his own life. The veil is healed, the babies are born without any marks.

Tropes:
- yearning
- Praise kink to the extreme
- Feminine rage
- Girlhood
- The chosen ones / prophecy

Favorite Quotes:
- Some things don’t get fixed. They get carried.
- "I belong to you. I have belonged to you since the first day you tried to stab me in that sparring ring. And I would have let the King drain me to a husk before I let another female have what is yours”
- I am yours Little Fox. Completely. Untouched. Yours.
- You are not just the one I love. You are the wound in the world I was born to bleed for.

The Binding is the third installment in The Heirs of the Shattered Veil trilogy by Celeanne Dorrington. This book immediately picks up where book 2 ended, there wasn't a drawn out build-up or recapping like I've seen in other book series. The plot moves at a steady pace constantly on this build toward the 'main event' (I'm trying to not give any spoilers!). The pacing was good overall; there were a few moments that I thought to myself 'let's just move on' or 'was this needed', but ultimately every one of those thoughts were taken back and everything came together in a way that felt cohesive and satisfying for a final installment.

Amaria has tremendous growth the comes to its peak in this book. One thing I felt was a little rushed with Amaria was how quickly she went from letting fear overcome her to being the bravest we've seen throughout the entire series. It all happened in a couple paragraphs and I get the journey overall, but that little piece just felt a bit rushed. I especially appreciated the writing of how she handled Serenya's memory loss progression. I think Serenya's battle is really touching and having the friends stay by her side and never let her feel 'less-than' was beautiful. It's a similar battle of Alzheimers or dementia, so this may be a difficult portion of the book for some readers.

The world-building is lighter in this book compared to books 1 and 2, but we do find the Dragonborn mountains in this book. It may be my love for dragons, but I want to go live there! There are some very funny scenes that take place at the mountains with Maxx...I wasn't really a Maxx fan before this book, but he redeemed himself for me!

Amaria and Eryndor finally get out of their heads and find what is happening between them; Amaria finds a family she didn't realize she was missing, and good conquers evil...The Binding, and this entire series left a strong and emotional impact. There was a bit a tear shedding along the way; but the writing, the plot, the characters...it was all perfect and it all tied the ending of the trilogy together perfectly.

Overall, The Binding is a beautiful conclusion to The Heirs of the Shattered Veil. I would recommend it to readers who enjoy true slow burn, enemies to lovers, found family, good vs evil tropes. And of course, anyone who has followed the series from the beginning.

I just closed The Binding and I’m honestly not sure how to go back to the real world. Celeanne Dorrington has done it again, but this time she turned the emotional dial up to eleven. If The Lost Thread was the book that gutted us, this is the one that painstakingly puts you back together—though not without a few more scars along the way.

The evolution of the "forced proximity" trope in this book was absolute genius. After spending two books desperate for Amaria and Eryndor to just touch, seeing them trapped in a tiny stone room in Skal'Varin with nothing but a single bed and a decade's worth of yearning was almost too much to handle. The scene where Eryndor builds Amaria a "nest" of furs on the cold floor because he's too noble to take the bed? My heart couldn't take it. The tension when she makes him that healing salve for his bruises—because it’s the only way she can "touch" him without breaking the world—was so intimate and heavy.

But can we talk about the found family in this book? The dynamic with Maxx, Serenya, and Dreadscale has officially become one of my all-time favorites. The "dinner party disaster" where they literally turn a feast into a battlefield—and Amaria ends up with gravy in her hair—was the exact bit of levity I needed before the final showdown. And Maxx being "adopted" by a baby copper dragon who uses him as a heating pad? I was cackling.

The ending, though... I was bracing for a total tragedy because of that "trembling sacrifice" prophecy, but the twist about "trembling surrender" and the power of choice was so much more powerful. Watching Amaria stop being just a "vessel" and finally decide she was worth protecting, too, was the character growth I’ve been waiting for since book one.

It’s rare for a series to stick the landing this well. It’s high-stakes, spicy, heartbreaking, and ultimately so hopeful. I’m going to miss these characters so much (and yes, even the tiny, tattered-cape-wearing dog). If you haven't started this series yet, what are you even doing? Get the tissues ready and dive in!

The Binding by Celeanne Dorrington, is book 3 of The Heirs of the Shattered Veil trilogy. The realms of Nhalivar whispers in your ear beckoning you to answer the call. This series is a fantasy book set in a fae world where duality isn't just a split, it is a personality. Each face marked by shadow or light. All are classified by it, made or destroyed depending on your mark and the magics they contain.

Becoming... that's what this series is truly about. They were all becoming exactly who and what they were meant to be. Through defeat, through victory, through friendship, family and love. When you take all the broken parts that you believed would shatter you completely. But instead of shattering, you find truth. Staring you hard in the face. Challenging you, encouraging you. Is anything more meaningful? I think not.

When surrender feels like faith. After every piece had been broken and shattered. When you have taken all the shards, picked them up, and thrown them away. Then rebuilt yourself from the bit that remained. Choosing what pieces and where they will go. Forged those pieces out of spirit and soul into who you are and what you become.

This series takes you for a journey of breath and essence. It will tear down your walls, make you cry, laugh. Then it will shatter you completely. Trust me, relinquish all of those parts. Because then the story becomes a piece of you. It enlightens all the best parts of life. Leaves them there for your memory. Always there, breathing existence back into them whenever you choose. Every great component in this epic series is thought through: mending of character, world building, and soul. Celeanne Dorrington is the sorceress of worlds that will stay with you and carry on through generations. Stories becoming lore.

I'd like to thank the author for gifting me this ARC for my honest review.

I genuinely don’t know how to explain the emotional journey this series took me on. The closer I got to the end, the more desperate I became for the world to continue because I was not ready to let these characters go.
This book absolutely destroyed me and then somehow stitched me back together again
.
The character work in this series continues to be phenomenal. Book two had me questioning the King’s motives and intelligence, but this installment finally ripped away the illusion and revealed the cruelty underneath. Watching everything unfold had me furious in the best way.

Amaria and Eryndor emotionally wrecked me. The tension between them was unbearable at times, and somehow the lack of physical touch made their connection even more intense. Some of the hottest scenes in this book came purely from yearning, restraint, jealousy, and emotional vulnerability. Their relationship felt consuming.

And THE DRAGONS. I am an absolute sucker for bonded dragons with personality, and this book delivered. The hatchling chaos, the bonding moments, the emotional connections — all of it gave me life. Serenya’s journey especially shattered me. Watching her struggle with memory loss and identity felt terrifying and heartbreaking, and I was genuinely emotional over her healing journey.

One of my favorite things about this series is how it balances heavy emotional moments with humor. The dog and hatchling duo were constant comedic relief and honestly became partners in crime.

Caden really stood out to me in this installment, and the Seer Twins gave me hope.

This series felt epic, emotional, magical, devastating, and healing all at once. The ending left me overwhelmed in the best possible way, and I already know these characters are going to live in my head for a very long time.

BRAVO!

“You are not just the one I love,” I whispered, the truth ripping out of me at last. “You are the wound in the world I was born to bleed for.” — Eryndor

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where do I even begin with this review? *The Binding* is the third and final book in *The Heirs of the Shattered Veil* trilogy, and without a doubt, it was my absolute favorite of the three. I thought *The First Scar* had a chokehold on me… wow, was I wrong.

*The Binding* was perfect in EVERY way. And because I refuse to spoil anything, I’ll keep this as vague as possible… lol. But this book had everything a final installment should have: Dragons, GRIFFINS, pure chaos, Menace(dog who thinks he's a dragon🤣 and a hatchling (aka tiny agents of chaos 😂), strength, major character growth, love, loss, continued witty banter, Caden (I desperately need more of him), SO much spice (I honestly felt like I was intruding at times lol but i totally live for it), hope, sacrifice, TRUST, surrender, rebirth, changed prophecy, CHOICE, victory… and *that* moment when Amaria’s soul remembered.

I had a feeling from the very beginning that moment was coming, and when it finally happened? I was SCREAMING!!!!

And that epilogue… 😁😁😁😁 It leaves just enough open that there could possibly be more to this story, and I truly hope there is because I absolutely love every single one of these characters.

Thank you again, Celeanne, for having me on your ARC/Street Team for *The Heirs of the Shattered Veil* trilogy and for sharing these incredible, lovable characters with all of us. You are amazing, and I’m so happy to have been along for this ride. I cannot wait for the next journey ❤️

✨️I so can not wait to get my special editions so I can dive back into Nhalivar✨️

Huge thank you to the author for providing an ARC of this conclusion; what an incredible ride it has been. This trilogy was absolutely amazing from start to finish, possessing that rare ability to hook you in immediately, toy with your emotions, and keep you frantically turning pages to see what fate had in store for these characters. The journey Amaria and Eryndor underwent, both together and separately, was a masterclass in storytelling that explored a vast spectrum of love, tension, grief, trepidation, and hope. Their partnership in battle was written perfectly, and I particularly appreciated the gentle foreshadowing sprinkled throughout the narrative that made the payoff feel so earned. By giving each character a distinct voice and allowing us insight into their individual perspectives, the world felt incredibly rich and lived-in.

The Binding was easily the most stressful and climactic installment of the series, keeping me on the edge of my seat with a plot so fast-paced and intense that I felt like I was holding my breath. I was completely immersed in the emotional lives of Amaria and Eryndor, feeling every high and low right alongside them as if their stakes were my own. I truly cannot praise this story enough and firmly believe that BookTok needs to watch out, because I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this becomes the next massive viral hit. The epilogue provided the perfect finishing touch to a stunning series, and while I’m sad to leave this world behind, I am so incredibly excited to see whatever Celeanne Dorrington writes next.

I received ARC copies of books 2 and 3 in exchange for my honest review. I will be reviewing them together since that is how i received them.

The further in to this series I got, the more I loved it. Don't get me wrong, I did like the first book in this series, but I did not LOVE it. I felt there were some slow parts that had my mind drifting and not fully capturing my attention. These 2 most definitely made up for it!!! I felt every single part of the main story with Amaria and Eryndor centered around longing, forced proximity, yearning, and tension. And lets also throw in the guilt over being the downfall of all magic and essentially the world right on top of that. The character development and world building is top notch and done really really well. It had me turning pages at a speed that could've caused physical harm and I literally could not put it down. I read both books in a day and a half. I also loved the development with the side characters and how you could feel how important their story was to the FMC.....almost more important to her than her own story. And then to throw in "That other" character (I won't give that away!). I will be thinking about this story for a long time to come, and I hate that it is over so soon! But, I will say that this series is a definite must read. And above that, if you weren't 100% sold after the first book, I beg you to keep going because it was absolutely fantastic!

My heart was ripped out, thrown in the void, and spat back out—and it was worth every single second.

This trilogy is absolute perfection from start to finish, growing more emotional and intense with each volume.

Amaria is a fierce, badass FMC who shows incredible growth, allowing the reader to truly feel the emotional cost of her journey, while Eryndor is the ultimate hot, self-sacrificing MMC.

The Author masterfully balances high-stakes action with a slow-burn romance and delightfully unhinged banter that is to die for.

The shift in the prophecy threw me for a loop, keeping the story unpredictable and ensuring nothing felt certain until the very end.

Beyond the main romance, Serenya's storyline adds profound emotional weight to the narrative. The way Maxx and Dreadscale remain by her side—with Maxx trying to keep things light and Dreadscale's protective, unwavering devotion—is one of those elements that truly sticks with you.

The climax against the King felt deeply personal rather than just another standard battle. Between the dragons and the abominations he created, everything came with a heavy, emotional cost that resonated right up until the final page.

It is a completely satisfying conclusion to a wonderful saga, and the epilogue hints at the return of some characters, leaving me hopeful that we will see more of them in the future.

Heirs of the Shattered Veil: The Binding by Celeanne Dorrington

As the end of a trilogy, Celeanne Dorrington sure delivered. I have said it before, Dorrington has a way with the written word.
Not to give away too many spoilers, but you are drawn into the story: like, actually drawn in.
Our FMC and her friends, as you know by now, are trying to save their world from the Veil unraveling. It is a problem that has become worse. The unstable bond between our FMC and MMC, Amaria and Eryndor, was completed. It was completed just to be torn apart by the King of Velmyra. He has grand plans for his son and heir, through an arranged marriage. The King has told the people that this union will heal the Veil rift and solve ALL their problems.
Amaria and her friends find out that the King and the new Princess are just displacing the desecration. How will they stop it? How to get close enough?
In a “hold the phone “ way, Celeanne Dorrington then takes you to battle. You feel like you are fighting too. Will Amaria and the others find a way to beat the King? Will they stop the Veil from destroying everything?
The book will keep you wanting more while waiting for the next twist in the story.
Put this series on your must read!

ARC Review 5 ⭐️

This series just keeps getting better with every book. Each instalment levels up, and I already can’t wait to be back in Nhalivar.

This story has genuinely captured my heart, and Eryndor owns a little piece of my soul too. Every character feels layered and complex, and the banter is absolutely top tier. It’s one of those rare series that can have me laughing out loud one moment and tearing up just a few pages later.

This book beautifully mends what The Shattered Veil broke, delivering both healing and heartbreak in equal measure. Amaria continues to be such a tenacious and compelling character, fiercely loyal to her found family and willing to fight for what’s right, no matter the cost. That loyalty and strength make her impossible not to root for.

The plot was gripping from start to finish. It’s fast paced, emotionally charged, and had my heart in my throat for so much of it. Every twist kept me guessing, and I never felt fully certain where the story was heading. And yes… we even get a little bit of spice in this one too.

Honestly, this is one of my favourite reads of 2026. A brilliant trilogy, and if this series doesn’t absolutely blow up on TikTok, I’ll eat my hat. Highly recommend 👌🏽

The Binding was exactly the healing my soul needed after the devastation of book two. Even knowing everyone would eventually be okay didn’t lessen the emotional weight of the journey; if anything, it made every painful step toward recovery feel even more meaningful. This book understands that healing is not neat, easy, or immediate. It is messy, exhausting, and deeply human. Every moment of peace is hard earned through sacrifice, surrender, and the willingness to keep fighting even when everything feels broken beyond repair.

What made this story so powerful was how authentic the emotional recovery felt. The characters aren’t magically fixed. They carry their scars, confront their pain, and slowly learn how to live again. Watching them rebuild themselves and each other was both heartbreaking and beautiful. The tenderness woven between the grief gave this story so much depth, and every small victory felt monumental because of everything they endured to reach it.

The Binding delivers emotional devastation and healing in equal measure, and by the end, I felt wrung out in the best possible way. A stunning conclusion that proves survival is only the beginning; the real triumph is learning how to heal afterward.

Thank you to the author for the arc ❤️

I don’t even know how to put this final book into words. Book 3 somehow raised the stakes even higher.

Amaria has grown so much over the course of this series, and in this book you really see what everything has cost her. The prophecy changing completely threw me, because just when you think you understand it, everything shifts and nothing feels certain anymore.
There’s also something going on with Seryena that broke my heart and adds this emotional weight to the whole story. The way Maxx and Dreadscale stay by her side. Maxx trying to keep things light and Dreadscale never leaving her is one of those things that just sticks with you.

And the battle againt the King had my on edge. Between the dragons and the abominations the King created, everything felt chaotic but in a way that actually mattered. It wasn’t just big battle, it was personal. Everything came with a cost, and you really felt that until the end.

It was exciting, emotional, and a little bittersweet. It felt like a true ending, but not one that wrapped everything up perfectly judging by the epilogue of some characters that resurfaced, giving me hope that maybe I'll see more of these characters again.

OMG! This book 🤗, between the yearning, the comedy, the battles, the twists and turns, writing wrong to right, uncovering truth, the feeling of lost, it was a roller coaster of emotions that had my heart racing non-stop! Love the way Amaria, Eryndor and Ceden got their revenge with the King. The way neither Maxx or Dreadscale stopped caring for Serenya. Absolutely love how Vivienne got killed💯.Must of all LOVE the way Amaria & Eryndor claim & accepted each other, the way they fought for each other against impossible situations. Must of all the reincarnation after centuries of being apart! 😎 I thought that I would not enjoy a trilogy so much after Daughter of the No Worlds, I was definitely wrong, this was AMAZING!! @Celeanne Dorrington thank you for giving us this (again) amazing story. I already have a space reserved on my bookshelf!. Can't wait to see what the Keeper will do now!!!😎😎@shadowmommythatauthor_74818

Thanks to the author for this amazing ARC!
It's been a while since I became this invested in a series/trilogy.... in the best way possible. I laughed. I cried. I became the characters.

That sexual tension between Eryndor and Amaria? Absolutely delicious! Got me all hot and bothered 🥵

Serenya losing her memory right after bonding her dragon legit made me sob like a little baby. And her not remembering her own best friend?! Her SISTER?! My heart broke into pieces..... 😭😭 I cant even imagine ....

Everything wrapped up so beautifully. Eryndor and Amaria getting their chance to just be together. Cadan slowly healing with the help of his dragon. Dreadscale. Serenya. And Maxx....
I absolutely love him and his jokes 🤣 especially him giving Eryndor and Amaria shit for "testing" their new armor. I dont think I've cackled so much!

I dont have any complaints....except the ending with the twins. NOW WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN?!

Celeanne has an incredible talent for breaking your heart and then carefully putting it back together again. This third installment in The Shattered Veil series delivers all the emotions. From beginning to end, the characters pull you into their world and refuse to let go.

At one point, I found myself trying to explain to my husband why I was crying over fictional characters—and honestly, that says everything about the emotional depth of this story. The connection you feel is real, and it lingers long after you’ve turned the last page.

This book was everything I hoped it would be and more. I actually stumbled across this series by accident, and I’m so grateful I did. At this point, I would read absolutely anything Celeanne writes.

Amaria, Eryndor, Serenya, Maxx, and Dreadscale will always hold a special place in my heart.

Thank you to the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third and final book in the trilogy, and the author did a great job bringing the story to a proper close.

The writing is easy to get into and not heavy on prose. The dialogue flows naturally and never feels forced, which I always appreciate.

A lot happens in this book, but it never feels chaotic. The story moves with intention, and while some elements feel grounded, there were plot twists that genuinely caught me off guard.

Character-wise, Amaria still felt a bit rash in her decisions at times. Eryndor and Dreadscale were steady and consistent throughout. I really enjoyed seeing Caden’s healing arc, and Serenya truly goes through it all, which made her difficult to watch at times. And Max being the mama bear making sure everyone ate was honestly the perfect touch.

Overall, a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.

How do you pick up your heart when it’s been broken into 1 million pieces? Let alone how do you deal with a bond that tries to fight you together even though forcing you, so close causes you so much pain in the long run.
These are all clues of what happens in this book. I cannot wait for you guys for the conclusion of the series. Everything in the story made my heart stop and race so many times from the betrayals to hidden identities to the secret powers that someone has. I just cannot get enough. The world building and character development is so amazing in this book even though it is the last book of the trilogy. I absolutely love how everything wrapped up in the end. My heart broke so many times and I had to put it down, so I could collect myself and not cry. So if you like adventure drama, this is gonna be the book that could give you the worlds worst book, hangover.

I did have the amazing opportunity to read this book as an ARC reader and this is my honest opinion.

After reading the first book in the trilogy, I immediately went and ordered the stained glass special editions. (Have you yet? No? There's no reprints happening... If you want it, you better race faster than those dragons) Anyways, I'm not sure I've ever just known that quickly that I needed the entire set; esp before reading the others.
Book two fcuked with my feelings unapologetically. I was so mad. But I loved it. Then I was mad I loved it. What can I say, I'm complicated.
But book 3 was the kicker. Celeanne apparently gets a sick satisfaction out of causing premature gray hairs and tachycardia in folks. Serenya, Eryndor, Amaria, Max... ugh. Each one of them broke my heart at least once. Then I'd forgive it just to have her break me all over again.
Absolutely stellar trilogy. Thank you for the opportunity to let me enjoy it early.

Side note... I still call dibs on Dread.

Thanks again for the ARC

5 ⭐️ for a finale that hits every mark without missing a beat.

Nothing beats staying up late to see the villainous King get his. Maybe saying "Do it again" in regards to killing him at 3am.

It came together so perfectly, no notes.

Well, except one...

I need Serenya's book now.

"I'm afraid of dying before I've had enough of you." My voice cracked on the last word. "I'm afraid of going to the Veil with my hands still empty. With your taste still on my mouth from one kiss when I should have had thousands. I'm afraid of dying hungry."

Oh Eryndor is definitely one of my favorite MMCs. Top tier for sure. The slow burn was worth the wait to see this man finally eat.

My gods! I didn't think this series could get any better, and it did. The final book in Amaria and Eryndor's story delivered. I laughed, I cried, I hurt, I felt the pain and joy along with the characters.

In the final battle against the King, Amaria and Eryndor must decide what is worth fighting for and what they are willing to sacrifice. With the help of Maxx, Dreadscale, Serenya, and Caden, they embark on an endeavor that will either save the world or unmake it.

This trilogy was absolute perfection. A true enemies to lovers, fated mates, and found family. It will tug at your heartstrings one moment and fill your heart with joy amd peace in the next paragraph. A wonderful saga with a satisfying conclusion.

Yes! Yes! Yes! The steamy trilogy of fire and Fury was everything I hoped it would be and even more than I thought it could be. Dragons and magic with humor and heartbreak and glory. Struggles and triumphs. All of the things! There were no short cuts. There were no disappointments. I fell in love with the characters and became a part of the group. Their laughter and strength and fighting the impossible when everything was against them. Menace was a shining star, and Maxx won my heart. And ahem, I can't think of a better way possible to save the world. Bravo on the finale. I'm looking forward to the next adventure!

Thank you to Celeanne Dorrington for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Oh my goodness, this book. It was what a final book should be! Tense, stressful, sometimes feeling all is lost, and then the reward for not giving up and following through.

Amaría and Eryndor were tragic but also so beautiful and deserved the ending they got.

And our side character family. I’ll never quite understand their relationship, but seeing them all come together was perfect.

This book was everything I needed to repair my broken heart at the end of book two.

Oh and we all need a little menace, hahah

Overall a wonderful debut series. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy it 😊

Wow. Cancel your plans and start this series! I wish I was Maxx and could fill this moment with a joke or something brilliantly quirky! I loved this series! Wait.. I've got it! 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝘼 𝙒𝘼𝙔 𝙏𝙊 𝙎𝘼𝙑𝙀 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙇𝘿, 𝘼𝙈 𝙄 𝙍𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏??!! 𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝘿𝙊 𝙄 𝙎𝙄𝙂𝙉 𝙐𝙋?!

The Binding has its own set of new rules for our favorite duo.😱 After our SECOND heartbreaking cliff-hanger in the previous novel, I did some fist pumps and jumps when "just dues" were given out in this one.

👏 Celeanne. You have created this amazing adventure and I thank you SO MUCH for this ride. ♥♥
