Sometimes life takes you where you least expect it, and for 24 year old Ava Flores, it’s twelve thousands miles from home. When accepting a position as a journalist for L.A’s top music magazine, she has no idea the new job will involve touring for eight weeks with one of L.A’s up and coming rock bands ‘Relentless Soul’. The long road ahead is full of endless possibilities and surprises.
For Jeremy Stone, being the lead singer of ‘Relentless Soul’ means an endless supply of hot women throwing themselves at his feet. But when the sexy and feisty Ava is somehow able to resist his charm, he realises she might be different than all the rest. Jeremy is determined to make her his, but it seems he’s not the only one.
After carrying around so much emotional baggage for so many years, Brody Cooper never thought he could be in a serious relationship. His trust issues and personal insecurities always seem to destroy his relationships before they’ve even begun. However, the moment he meets Ava in a Hotel elevator, he knows that he is hooked. The more he gets to know her, the more he is starting to picture a life that he never knew he wanted. As Bass guitarist for ‘Relentless Soul’ Brody is used to letting his best friend, Jeremy take the spotlight and get all of the female attention, but will it be different this time?
Ava feels drawn to both Jeremy and Brody, but is confused about where her heart lies. Is it with the man who makes her heart race and treats her like a princess, or with the man who obviously cares about her but is fighting his attraction and continues to push her away? How can Ava follow her heart without coming between the two band mates and best friends? Is a relationship with either of them possible, or is it inevitable destruction of everything they have all worked so hard for?
I live in Sydney Australia with my fiancé, two dogs and cat. I have always loved to write but never knew it was possible to be a published author. Relentless is my first book and I love it. I know I'm bias but I don't care.
Different from anything I have ever read. A MUST READ!!
I was given an ARC for an honest review. NOT YOUR USUAL ROCK BAND STORY. I loved this story, the characters were really down to earth and likeable. I fell head over heels for Jeremy, Ava is perfect for him. Brody is really sweet but isn't right for her, I think Emma may be a better suit.
SERIOUSLY THOUGH JEREMY OMG. TOTAL HOTTIE!!
The story line was great and so different from the other Rock star ones that I have read. Eve and Rachel did a great job at writing this. It flowed perfectly and I can't even tell who wrote what. The triple POV had me guessing from the start as to who Ava ended up with. It was easy to understand who's POV it was as it was clearly labelled. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SECOND PART! The girls did a great job for their first novel and they deserve all 5 stars.
I was lucky enough to get a copy for an honest review.
so here goes.
The story line was well thought out and i was really able to connect to the characters. Ava had her moments where she did get kn my nerves but her strong personally made me love her. Jeremy was an arsewhole who treated Ava like shit. Brody was sweet and sensitive and it was so clear that he loved her. however i hated that he kept refering to him self as not worthy. His secert keeped me wondering for a while. The multiple points of view was fantastic i was able to know what everyone was thinking and feeling the entire time.
My stomach churned and there was parts that me want to though the book. I laughed multiple times from Jeremy and Luke. i wanted to scream at Brody and Ava so many times. Tori and Emma were so sweet and caring towards Ava, you could see they had a real bond. I can't wait to find out what happens (i have a hunch though)
This story is so different that i never expected the things that happened to happen. I was hooked shortly on and had to finsh it.
A good twist to the rock star story. It was one of those books that made me frustrated, in a good way. There were times I wanted to shake Ava and tell her to open her eyes. Loved 'the girls' and how they looked out for each other.
Never felt happier to read about a punch to the face!
I gave the book 4 stars because I hate cliff hangers!! However, the story great and very believable.
I was lucky enough to receive this book in a giveaway! I love band/music/rock star romances so I was very excited to read it! I really enjoyed how the book alternated between the three main characters POV. It worked well for you to be able to have the inside view into all of their thoughts and actions. Ava is a lucky girl (even if she doesn't think so!) to be stuck between two sexy musicians, but uh-oh.....they happen to be best friends as well. Jeremy has what I like to call "rock star syndrome", but I like how he was with Ava at the beginning of the book. Brody is broody (you like how I did that there?!) but he has a lot of redeeming qualities that make him an awesome match for Ava. Can they handle the pressure of the tour, their feelings (Ava and Jeremy and then Ava and Brody and then Jeremy and Brody), and the challenges all of this will bring upon them? The book does leave with a NNNNOOOO cliff hanger, but it's cool because I will be reading book two as soon as I'm done with this review! There were several issues with grammar and punctuation, but I don't hold that against the authors they are only human!
