The Fake Fiancé Match

My best friend handed me a weekend at a resort. She forgot to mention it came with a fake fiancé in a one-bedroom bungalow.

Tyler Grant … sharp jawline, sharper mind, confident, athletic.
Exactly my type. Until I overhear him reduce me to nothing with words I’ll never forget.
He becomes my villain in that moment.
Now I’m stuck with him at a couples lodge where everyone believes we’re engaged.
We play along. I need the weekend for work. He needs a weekend without it.
But Tyler doesn’t act the way I expect.
He catches me mid-fall during yoga. Shows interest in my photography. Anchors me when I’m terrified on the zip line.
I got him completely wrong. That’s when I fall.
The way he looks at me says he’s falling too.
But by morning my fake fiancé is gone. No explanation. No goodbye.
We were just pretending. Until we weren't. But I may have lost him forever.

Fake Engagement, Enemies-to-Lovers, Forced Proximity, Secret Crush, Opposites Attract, Slow Burn.
This is a sweet, no spice, kisses only romance.

📖BOOK REVIEW | The Fake Fiancé Match by Emma Haven 💙✨

⭐️ 5.5/5 Stars — Hands down one of my favorite romance reads this year!

Tyler and Paige completely stole my heart.

From their witty pickleball banter to the slow, undeniable chemistry building between them, I found myself smiling through every chapter.

By the time I reached the last chapter, I wasn’t ready to let them go and honestly, I already need a Part 2!

Emma Haven’s writing is warm, effortless, and incredibly easy to get lost in. She perfectly balances laugh-out-loud moments, heartfelt emotion, and romantic tension without ever making the story feel rushed.

The slow burn pays off beautifully, and Tyler’s quiet acts of service made him an instant Book Boyfriend.

Every interaction between him and Paige felt genuine, making it impossible not to root for them from beginning to end.

And that letter… 🥹❤️

Easy, feel-good read. An overheard snippet of conversation, hurtful words, mutual friends who each offer one of them their resort weekend they can't attend. And Tyler and Paige find themselves sharing a suite together, on an engaged-couples retreat weekend. Story flowed well; loved Tyler and Paige as they chose to use their retreat activities to get to know each other, and even let go of some earlier perceptions. Wasn't rushed or forced or full of angst or drama. Sometimes, you just need one like this.

When their respective pickleball partners individually offer their couples retreat package to their partners, both accept the chance to go. It throws them together in what could become a very awkward situation. However it turns out to be a positive experience until he slips away before she is awake on the final morning.
A short and lovely story about accepting a situation and being open minded.

This is my first book by this author, and I really loved it! The couples resort sounded amazing, and it was a fun setting for a fake fiance, enemies-to-lovers story.

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review it!

Such a cute easy to read story. It’s hard began as pickleball opponents. Then a misinterpreted meaning about her. Then after being gifted a weekend couples retreat by friends were confused to a boatload of cute experiences. I loved it

I loved this book, it had such an adorable story line and kept my attention while staying witty and clean. Also loved the length as sometimes I just don't have the attention span for super long books.

A unique story for the sweet romance genre. I liked it a lot but I wish there was more content. Felt a bit rushed. And I would have liked to have seen a happier ending(proposal/wedding).
