The Theonomy Debate: Analysis: Are the Mosaic Civil Laws Obligatory for Civil Governments Today?

Rate this book
This essay is the ebook-format of Reformed Libertarian's analysis of the Theonomy Debate that took place between Joel McDurmon and JD Hall. The debate resolution was: "The Mosaic Civil Laws are obligatory for Civil Governments today.” McDurmon, a theonomist, affirmed the resolution and Hall denied it.

This essay is not a general case against theonomy (which Reformed Libertarian will publish in an upcoming book), but rather, is an interaction with the actual comments of the debate. We express no official statement about whether they could have done better or been better prepared or whether one was “ready” to meet his opponents arguments. That is up for the viewer to decide. What we wanted to do was detail our own understanding of the debated issues and demonstrate where we think the theonomist position is weak.
