best friends to lovers
Stormie & Kade have been best friends for 6 years, but at some point there is a shift. They start to look at each other through different eyes, scared that if they verbalize it things would never be the same. They’ve done everything but cross those lines, until a storm and one weekend away in a cabin with nothing but time and silence. I could feel the tension, the stolen glances, the holding of breaths, til Kade decided he will no longer be afraid and finally spoke his truth. I enjoyed this, had the right amount of build up to the spice. Once they let it out they couldn’t stay off each other, Kade was all in and ready to give her the world, no confusion. Look forward to an update on them later on.

I rarely read friends to lovers but I like this book.. spicy novella and I am glad the character stopped playing around and got together.

Stormie and Kade definitely WEATHERED the storm!
Thee Tasha Marie really writes the best novellas. They are always so good that you end up wishing for more, and that is how you know she’s a great writer! Can we please talk about the chemistry between Storm and Kade? The buildup and the anticipation they had for each other was everything. The love, the lust, the passion, and all those kisses in between had me hooked.
I loved the claiming and that "I’m going to take care of everything because you’re mine" energy. And look, we cannot forget the BDE in those gray joggers! This friends to lovers trope will literally have you squeezing your thighs. I loved everything about Stormie and Kade’s story. Maybe in the future we’ll get an update with some wedding bells and a positive pregnancy test!

Storm realized quickly that being trapped in a cabin during a thunderstorm can get a lil steamy. Kade handled Storms mind, body, soul, thoughts and everything in between. One thing Thee Tasha Marie gonna do is pen a NICE AND JUICY EROTICA! She never disappoints me ! When I say Stormie & Kade really had a TIME, that’s what 6 years of denial will do to you. Man, I love when a book Leaves me wanting more. Kade and Stormie’s relationship started off for 6 years a friendship, but with a storm coming in, that friendship quickly turns into something else…something deeper and will change their dynamic drastically. This book left me mad that it was over (my kind of book), but I do want to know after Kade left Stormie spent for 2 days, did he get his twins 🤔?

Ha, this was a fun quick read. I love a good friends to lovers romance where the male is direct after getting a feel of what the female is thinking.
Kade said what he said and Stormie had to just deal with it. He wanted my girl in her soft girl era. The way he handled her technically she was a pool of goo. He was counting them out.

I needed this short read.
A cool 98 pages full of smut … but left me with questions. Not in a bad way though.
The only thing I wanted to know was their family & friends reactions. (I think they would’ve all been happy & said “finally”.) If Stormie actually got over her overthinking & how Kade told Kendra off.

This friends to lovers romance for Stormie and Kade was a really good steamy read. I know we were informed that the book was going to be a quick, hot book but it really needed an epilogue in my opinion.

Not much of a story, he picks her up n the rain, they get it on all weekend .. not much else.. couldn’t stand the wannabe thug talk, made them sound like teenagers..
Lacked substance for me, the babies comment is a complete turn off, after one weekend together yeah right! Was off..
