The Mages of Qizut have gifted Ivor the location of another Inheritance. Much like his first Inheritance, this one is dangerous; perhaps even more than the first one. Thousands have attempted the Inheritance. None have returned.
Quite a bit is known about the Inheritance, the instructions are clear. Ivor will enter the Inheritance of the Arch Magus as a Level 1 Mage. He will need to complete four years at an academy while one year passes outside. There are limits to what he can bring with him.
It doesn’t sound too dangerous. Then why have all the others never returned?
It’s a mystery Ivor and Zed are willing to explore. Those other people didn’t have Ivor’s titles or stats. They definitely didn’t have a former AI turned Sector Administrator/World Guardian/Freehold Guardian along for the ride.
Many people wonder what it would be like to start over. Ivor is going to find out. There’s one thing that’s kept him and those he cares about alive since the Earth Reformation; power through growth. He’ll be away from Marie and his Freehold for an entire year, but growth demands sacrifice.
This book has an OP main character, game-like stats, skills, spells and level progression. No AI was used int he creation of this book’s content.
I had already read a good portion of this book on patreon. I ended up rereading everything I had already read because the The book was so good and it was so nice to read all at once! Fantastic book great entry into the series well worth the time and money. And dang it I really want the next book right now! Which is not fair to the author who spent so long working so hard on something that I devoured in just a few hours in one day 😂
This series just gets better and better. I love the imagination of this author as I never seem to know what is going to come next. That is rare for me that each book is a delicious treat.
I love all the incredible well-rounded characters written in the series overall and the ones who just appear in this book about a single year lived in the outside world compared to the four years experienced in the Inheritance.
On top of the well rounded characters, the plot is captivating and engrossing. I found it impossible to put the book down until I finished it.
If you enjoyed the first three books you will love this one just as much. I can't believe I have to wait until August to find out what happened next!
It can be hard creating a world within the book you are writing and to create it as an Inheritance trial is quite brilliant. This book is slower paced but no less entertaining with characters and plot. I was actually sad the inheritance was not real and would fall apart when Ivor left. Every book in this series has been given 5 stars by me. Outstanding.
I rarely do reviews, but this author is one of the best at advancing the story with interesting plots, while not getting bogged down in the minutiae. The main characters are given depth through action and speech without pages of inner dialogue. If you like these kind of litrpg stories then Brad Botz is one the best I’ve seen.
I enjoyed this. Finished in a day. Yea, its an academy arc but was done in the fashion of the other books. If you like OP MCs, who are smart and practicle, this is well done. If you was a MC struggles and requires plot devices, this is definitely not something for you.
This continuation of the Earth Reformation series is like a stand alone book. As in all of the books, the MC, Ivor is still massively over powered and is able to cream everything in his path. But... This is totally fine as he's surrounded by a well built world and story that doesn't get trampled by any repetitive formulaic boss smashing.
I can’t believe you fooled me. I thought you were gonna do one year and leave it, but you totally finished the inheritance and kept me wanting more. I can’t wait for the next book and can’t wait to reread the series again.
It seemed like he wasn’t going to finish the inheritance in one book, but the grind of the first few semesters was largely gone by the last few. A reasonably satisfactory ending to the ‘quest’.
What a fantastic book it was so hard to put down a little sleep last night I thought that it would be a two-part book nope fulfilled with one book and new series
I love this series. Engaging adventures, great character building, and solid stat/class progression. Ivor is the f***ing man. Keep up the great work Brad. Looking forward to the next in the series.
I was actually sad when I finished. This book was a Mage School Arc with our guy dealing with gangs and Nobels. At the end it’s hinted that our guy has to put some folks on Earth in their place.
I’m a litRPG junkie. Seriously. I likely need an intervention. Anyway. The genre allows for a lot of imagination but not many take it. This one does and the whole series so far has been a pure joyride.
Awesomely Written-A Must Read-Story is Amazing, keeps you glued to the end
Mr. Botz ability to create a world that keeps the reader enthralled with the story is impressive, can’t wait to see where Mr. Kemble goes next. Bravo Mr. Botz, BRAVO..
Writing is more basic and straightforward than most books. End felt rushed. Wasn't terrible and was logical, but still took away from overall. Didn't help that the final culminating fight wasn't a fight at all. Still looking forward to the next one.
Very good book. Other books came out the week of this release and this book out of all of them hooked me. Great action, adventure, story, and new characters.
