"Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right."
Again the book, story was so so. Like i said in my last review it was very predictable, the ending was a bit weird especially Liam and Melody, i felt she has been basically flinging herself at him over the last two books and hes fianlly given in to her desperation fell in love and proposed in a matter of days after being a complete manwhore i didn't find it believable in relation with the characters i have read about but ok. I kinda felt bad for Vanessa she just seemed so confused and naive throughout the book i wouldn't be surprised she wasn't brainwashed, all we really found out about her at the end is she was alive. I am glad Slade and Chelsey got together i did like them alot as a couple. Not a bad book not great either but if your into vampires and lycan's give it a whirl.
A thrilling suspenseful ride filled with drama, humor, horror, sorrow, sadness as well as smiles and laughs from start to finish, the author covers many types of supernaturals. An intrigue unique read that is fast paced for the most part, it has a very interesting plot with wonderful characters. It is steamy with some very hot hunk that you are so going to love.
As you found in the second book Slade’s life just turned upside down when he finds out the truth about his ex and her sister. What about Vanessa boyfriend isn’t he something, oh he has plans for Chelsey but Slade has her back or will he be too late?
Ms. Kelly does a wonderful job narrating from her wonderful character voices to the delightful emotions she puts into her audios. Her male and female voices are very good, you always know who is talking and what they are feeling. You can hear the emotions that each character is going through as well as the fear, happiness, confusion and sorrow. There are no background noise, no repeating of words, no volume changes. If any breaks were taken I could not tell. I always knew who was talking, what they are feeling. She really brought the characters to life pulling me in and painting a picture I could see in my mind. I could really hear the desperation in Chelsey’s voice and the powerful emotions that Slade has. This is a very clean, clear audio that is very realistic that you almost feel like you are watching a movie, the characters feel real even though we know they do not exist I found myself watching out the window expecting to see one. I really enjoyed how she shows the sparks flying between these two as their feeling and confusion grow you are pulled in. The narrator makes them feel like they are family. I totally enjoyed listening to this audio.
I listened to the boxset so this part of the review is on it as a whole. Loved the plot, the story line feels real as well as the characters. I really didn’t want it to end and I do hope the author is planning on writing more in this series. When Chelsey said one day she would find and deal with the woman that turned her world upside down I was think you go get her, but I totally understood that now is not the time she has things she must deal with first as she starts her new life with Slade. The way the character said it made me feel there will be more added to this series and I for one can’t wait. I loved the supporting characters they add so much to this series. Many things happen, a lot of twists and turns that are exciting, some will have your throat in your mouth, making your heart beat faster and wanting to get in on the fight yourself. He steam is hot some very hot sex scenes that will heat you up. The danger is real as well as the excitement. It was a very hard audio to put down I needed to find what happened next. There wasn’t anything I didn’t love about these stories. It was well written you can tell a lot of thought went into the writing as well as the narration. I hope you pick it up and give it a listen you are in for one thrilling ride.

Yes Available: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... Overall score: I scored this book 5/5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Short Summary of the book: Slade has found out his fiancée’s sister is in fact the fiancée he thought had killed herself a century earlier. Will he try to win her heart again or is his blossoming love for Chelsea stronger? And what will happen with Chelsea? Melody tries all she can to make Liam change his mind about being with a human. What I liked about the book: I enjoyed the power play between love and reason and between bad and good. What I didn’t like about the book: I enjoyed the book in its entirety. My favourite bits in the book: Where the baddies got their come-uppance. I also enjoyed the surprises toward the end of the book. My least favourite bits in the book: Where Chelsea was made to believe all her loved ones had died and she was entirely at the mercy of the baddies. Any further books in the series? Any more planned by this author? This is the last book in this series, I believe. There are, however, some other series using some of the characters in this series. What books could this be compared to and why? Recommendation:

Trigger warning: Attempted rape scene toward the end of the book. I listened to the audiobook version of the story and the story was good. However, I disliked the narrators voice which made it hard to love this story. I think had I read this series instead I would have enjoyed the story a little more. There were still times that both Melody and Chelsey characters were annoying and I disagreed with the way Slade went about things with Chelsey, but over all, it was a good story. It wrapped up things nicely for Chelsey and Slade, Melody and Liam and even Adrian. These stories were a good way to pass the time being as that this was my first series from this author. I would be willing to give her other books a try to see if I enjoyed them more than this series.
This last book was a nice change from the last, things pick up and the action is good, a lot going on and some new and interesting characters to shake things up. I love how well it comes out in the audio version of the book, the english accented characters are good but still the male voices are a bit over the top, and the jokes are a bit cheesy. I do love the ending and like how things build and finish smoothly , It is worth a read. I was given this book in return for my honest review.
Toxic (Venom #3) was a great read by Kristen Middleton. This book is the third and final installment of the Venom Series. Slade has just found out the truth about Vanessa, and isn't sure if it changes his feelings about Chelsey. Melody has a thing for Liam although everyone is trying to keep them apart. This was another great read and I can't wait to read more by the author.
Grab it and see what happens when Slade finds out the truth about his ex . Does he give his ex Chelsey up or keep her safe . You will get a great surprise with little feet running around.
I listened to all three books in the series. This author is new to me. I enjoyed listening to Meghan Kelly reveal the story on audio. Cousins Melody and Chelsea are young, naive and romanced by a lycan and vampire rock stars. This is a paranormal series worth reading.
This series was a pretty good read. A little jumpy on the flow, and lacking in the steamy sex scenes, but since target audience is young adult...they might find it more to their liking.
Good series, good characters, ending was unusual. Good narration by Kelly added to the story. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
This book was great. With all the loose ends tied up nicely. I enjoyed this series, it was very unique and enjoyable. A fantastic performance from Meghan that really helped the story flow.
What a great installment to end the series. We now know that Vanessa is still alive and is working with Lucian to try and scheme over Liam’s brother Aiden. She will do anything Lucian because she is in love with him, but I can’t say the same for him. They even go as far as kidnapping and removal of memory.
In this installment we get to see Chelsey and Slade’s relationship be tested. But also we get to see how they have grown as a couple especially in the end. I do fell that the book was rushed a little. I think there could have been more scenes on how they are coping with this new addition to the family.
And we get to see my favorite character give in to Melody. That was so funny how Melody wore down Liam. Just by that one time, he ends of falling in love with her. And we know that Liam is a womanizer. It was good to see how things progressed with them. I think they can even have their own spinoff.
** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **
LOVED IT! LOVED THE BOOK, THE SERIES, THE NARRATION...ALL OF IT!!!
This is a great continuation to this series, and although I think it may be the last book in this story...I would like more! lol I love how the couples ended up and I really love that they had a vampire baby....this is a great PNR series, that will make you laugh and cry a little too...and definitely leave you wanting more! Great down to earth easy listening writing...and really good narration...I recommend!!!
First off I have to say, please don't let this be the end! There is so much more story to be told. Slade and Chelsey now have a child that every one is going to want to control. We have vampires and lycans and the possibilities are endless. I promise you that you will not be dissatisfied with the characters or the story that this author has spun.
I love this series. The author is wonderful and knows what she's doing. I felt like I was one of the characters and could see everything and feel everything that was happening. THIS IS A MUST READ!!!! I fell in love with the character's and everything about this series.
Please make another installment to this series!! I love your stories so much, but they don't seem very long. I read this series in a day in a half. I love it!! A story of both of the girls wedding and children growing up together would be fantastic! I love your books!!
This book was good it was fast book not that long but I was so glad that they got together and had a baby but it was cool they had a baby but it was a vampire but they never said if it would grow or what but still a good book just wanted more of it
while I do like the characters of slade, Liam, Chesley and melody... this lady one seemed a bit off... and hurried... a few tense errors and the editing was a bit lax, but over all an okay end to an expansion series
It is definitely an entertaining read, quick and fun, characters are fairly believable and rather quite likable. I have enjoyed all three books in this series and would probably read further into it if Kristen was to write more on the main characters. If you're looking for fast and easy this is it!
I have read almost all of the series you wrote. They have all been excellent. I would recommend your books to anyone who likes romance and hilarious action. Going to the teenage witches now.
