This is the story of two brothers, living on opposite ends of the country, struggling to survive in a world meeting its demise. Paul Landry lives in Green Falls, Washington. News of the inevitable disease slowly breaks down the cohesion of this north-west logging town. Paul is a family man; his concerns are to keep his wife and two young sons safe. His neighbor, Roy Benton, is a figurehead in their small community. Their plan is to take both of their families to refuge in the mountains. But what is the cost of food, water, and ammunition in a world going completely mad?
