Rate this book
[Siren Classic: Erotic Consensual BDSM Romance, spanking, sex toys, HEA]

Mary Claire Brook is a little girl in need of a Daddy Dom. As an ADHD radio announcer and ASL translator, she needs someone to take care of her instead of her taking care of everyone else.

Best-selling thriller author Sinjin Gallagher is a deaf/mute Daddy Dom in need of a baby girl to take his mind off his troubles. His home burnt down while he was out of town taking care of business and he is forced to stay with his stepbrother, Club Esoteria’s Master Gunnar Nilson.

Club Esoteria seems the perfect place for this couple to meet and discover how much they have in common. But life, careers, and Sinjin’s hatred of modern technology comes between them.

Will they play nice together? Has Club Esoteria’s growing reputation for matching up the right couples remained intact? Will Sinjin ever join the twenty-first century and buy a cellphone?

I always thought I had been born a hundred years too late, but I do appreciate air conditioning, computers and other conveniences of modern day living. I love the slower pace of New Bern, North Carolina as well as the history and small town community. Imagine a neighborhood where people wave at one another and keep eye out for the children. It's like living in the 1950s. In addition to dreaming up my next story, of which there are always two or three in the works, I enjoy reading everything from children’s books to romance to mysteries to vampire adventure, singing in my church choir and needle-weaving.

I love to hear from readers at coopermckenzie@ymail.com.

I was looking forward to this one cause DADDY DOM, alas this guy wasn't all that "daddy dom" like. The story had potential (a deaf/mute) Dom, a sub who signs with ADHD/OCD. Alas, like I have said many times before these books REALLY need to be more fleshed out.

The H/h meet in the club, get along, have one date, then she gets busy at work, and he has to leave for some book business, and neither notice they haven't spoke to each other in TWO FRIGGING MONTHS!! I mean, we've already had the inner thoughts about how each other is "THE ONE" You'd think you'd notice if "THE ONE" screwed off for two months, alas no. They get back in touch, and it's all I LOVE YOUS, and rainbows out the ass...THE END...sigh.

I liked this story of Mary Claire who is an ADHD radio announcer and an ASL translator for the hospital and police. Sinjinn Gallagher is a Deaf Mute from birth whos home burned down while he was away on business and is forced to find a home with his brother in another state. His brother is Master Gallagher, a married man who attends the local BDSM club Esoteria. The club has a reputation for
matching the right couples together. Sinjin attends the club and sees Mary, as Mary notices a new Dom and asks who he is. They are introduced and realize they have a lot in common as Sinjin is a sweet Daddy Dom and that is exactly what Mary is looking for. The fact that Sinjin is a deaf-mute and Mary an ASL interpreter is perfect too. The story shows them working through some difficulties that have nothing to do with communication but in the end, we do get a HEA. (ASL is American Sign Language)

I work with hearing impaired children and when I read what the book was about, I was jumping for joy. I don't know if it's the difference in locations but here it's called a interpreter not a translator but that's my only complaint. Also when I read "daddy Dom" and she didn't call him daddy I was dancing inside.. The last book I read that had daddy Dom was not what I like but this one was perfect

Sweet little story ♡

This is a sweet, fast read, about a deaf mute dom and an interpreter DJ sub falling in love. Quick read, nothing fancy, just fun. Exactly what I wanted for a very, very rainy afternoon.

This is one of my favorite books that Cooper Mckenzie has written. Very seldom to readers get a story about a deaf Daddy Dom but Sinjin is just that. And Mary is just wonderful as a sub who knows sign language. Just get the book and read it!! It's great!

Short sweet BDSM romance of a daddy dom and little. Not complex and not very much actual showing of the Daddy/little dynamic.

There were so many reasons that I couldn’t wait to read A Pixie for Master Sinjin by Cooper McKenzie. First of all, I love Ms. McKenzie’s books because of the fascinating characters and steamy sex. Secondly, A Pixie for Master Sinjin is the next book in Ms. McKenzie’s Club Esoteria series and I have loved all the other books in the series that I had read. But the real reason I was dying to read this book is because I had a small part in the creation of this story.

It all started with a discussion on social media about how a D/s relationship would work with a deaf Dom. Several of us contributed to the conversation which seemed to take on a life of its own. Ms. McKenzie loved the idea and the end result is A Pixie for Master Sinjin. I was beyond excited to see how she used our ideas.

Well, even in my wildest imagination I couldn’t have imagined just how great the book would turn out to be. A Pixie for Master Sinjin drew me in from the very first page and didn’t let go until I reached the happy ending. Master Sinjin was compelling, dominating and pure sex on a stick and I yearned for him to find the woman worthy of him. Mary Claire was the perfect counterpart to Sinjin – warm, compassionate, giving and submissive. The fact that she was fluent in American Sign Language just added to her appeal.

The connection between the two was instant and yet, Ms. McKenzie made it believable. I found their actions and emotions authentic which made these characters easy to care about. I loved watching them learn about each other and grow to love one another.

There were so many little details that Ms. McKenzie included to show how Sinjin dealt with his deafness. Yes, he was deaf but it was only a small part of the story. The focus was on Sinjin and Mary Claire falling in love and what a sweet story it was.

So I am very glad that it was Ms. McKenzie who wrote that story that a few readers dreamed up because I can’t imagine anyone else writing it as well as she did. Thank you Ms. McKenzie for bringing our ideas to life. I will treasure this story for a lifetime.

Okay, I read the blurb and I thought, oh this will present challenges. I mean a Dom who is both mute and deaf. How will he communicate? How will safe, sane and consensual allow him a full range of the bdsm dynamic? But I shouldn’t have worried, Cooper McKenzie did a wonderful job of moving past the challenges. It helped that Sinjin’s submissive happened to know sign language, but that only mitigated part of the challenges. I mean what if she is bound? How is she to protect herself? I appreciated the Ms. McKenzie took on this challenge and gave us characters that were real and likeable. Mary was an interesting character in that at times I wasn’t sure she wasn’t playing at being a submissive. But Sinjin’s needs were what I would characterize as bdsm light, so they gelled perfectly. He found in Mary something that satisfied his need to dominate. I enjoyed seeing Ms. McKenzie work out their dynamic in such a way that was respectful and real. A Pixie for Master Sinjin was a nice quick read. I enjoyed seeing Sinjin and Mary work toward a meaningful future and you will too.

I loved the fact that we have a Hero who is deaf. Cooper did an awesome job of writing this character. It was short but hot and sweet and very well written. My only wish would be that we could havegone deeper into Sinjin and Mary Claire.

Interesting story

This was an interesting story and I found myself fascinated by it. Sink in is a Dom but being deaf animate causes difficulties in finding his very own submissive. A well-written and special romance.
