A Call to Action! We have had enough poor leaders over the years to know what is not effective in leadership, so it’s nice to step back and take a look at what works well. Molly Grisham does just that in her first book. She takes readers on a trip down memory lane into many of her personal stories that had life inspiring moments. There are moments of laughter and tears and questions we ask ourselves as we pour through this text. It’s a personal call to action. Meet the Moment was a beautiful read for me and a true exemplar of how we as humans must do better about embracing one another as we are if we are to impact our world in a positive way.

This was a good easy read for all leaders and those looking towards leadership. It gets back to the human aspect with examples of things we do that truly shows leadership that we don’t even realize. I would recommend this to people who may be struggling or for those who are looking toward a leadership position. I am reading it from an educational lens and it is spot on for what we need in leading students, teachers, staff and each other.
