I loved the structure of this book, where Lewty uses forms of prayer (like Vespers) as containers for her experimental and deeply interior poems. I also loved how she included the poet's mind at work, thinking through this structure, giving herself prompts, and feeling her way through the book. I can't say that I always felt grounded in the poems -- they are deeply experimental -- but I did trust the poem to guide me through, and many of the poems moved me.
