Secrets are revealed, lies are exposed, and a daunting fate comes to life... It's all been adding up to this.
They know the fight isn't over. Misel is still out there, plotting and waiting. But they aren't prepared for what else they'll find. And they learn just how cunning, ruthless, and calculated he really is.
Arena and Kace would die for each other, but will that be tested?
Legacies are formed, destinies are changed, and fate is tempted. And it all blows up in a way they never expected to be possible.
Finally, this last book includes Kace’s point of view! I’ve been wondering what’s going on in his mind, especially when something had happened to Arena and when he had to deal with Ebony or Mary 😉. I wondered what had happened to Mary, though. She wasn’t in the spotlight anymore.
The conclusion to this series wasn’t disappointing at all. It was full of twists and turns, some that I didn’t expect at all. But, although I liked the story, I wouldn’t say I’ll miss the team because I’d had enough of Arena’s childish behaviour from the previous two books. That being said, Arena had grown into a matured lady in this book, and I liked her better.
This is the best of the three books. Kase is great but Arena has more substance to her character in this book. I liked a lot of the secondary characters. Worth a read. It does need another edit though.
Very satisfying ending. These stories we're so great. C.M. Owens is an awesome story teller and weaves great takes with the right amount of humor and drama. I laughed as much as I cried. Her snarkey main characters are just wonderful.
I could relate so much to Arena and she drew me in with Book 1. However book 3 is the absolute greatest because you learn so much about life outside of the tribe she grew up in. C.M. Owens you're the G.O.A.T.!
Plot- or character-driven? Plot Strong character development? Yes Loveable characters? Yes Diverse cast of characters? No Flaws of characters a main focus? Yes

I honestly have no words for this series. Now I definitely have to read this authors’ other books because it would be a crime if I didn’t. Rest in peace C.M. Owens 🕊️❤️.
I loved this book. It had so many twists and turns, ups and downs, but got me where I wanted to be in the end. It's finally time for the final war with Misal, but we don't know who else he is working with. We also have strange developments with Arena that could destroy her and her and Kace. We still have our cast of bad-ass girls and their men and we get more time with the future little Ms. All-Around SaShante. Julius continues to be one of the best characters but each character has grown with each book. They are all appreciated. We get introduced to Carter, but we still have to endure Ebony. I'm not sure I've ever disliked a character more and for so many reasons. I hate her more than Arena hates peacocks!
This is a wildly entertaining story with an outcome that is never certain, only hoped for. Arena and Kace continue to have great chemistry and inspire their friends and the rest of people. To see good people rewarded and bad punished can be very satisfying. And the little glimpse we get down the road was wonderful. This book was an excellent conclusion to the love story of Arena and Kace. A book focused on such a strong woman that constantly becomes a better human, touching lives all over is a worthy book in itself. Add a man who loves her so completely that he will not only do anything for her, but is honest and open to all about his love makes it an even better read. Together they are unstoppable. They can make the world better for all.
I read this trilogy within a couple days' time frame, so I'm just going to be lazy here and rate the series as a whole since I felt as if I would have rated each individual book the same. Here's my breakdown:
Pros: * Fairly priced (Book one was free, and books 2 and 3 were about $1) * Badass heroine * Lots of fast paced action * Creative concept * Pretty sexy at times
Cons: * At times it felt as if there were simply too many characters. On more than one occasion I had to reference back to see exactly where a certain character was introduced and who they were etc. This tends to take away from the character depth of some of the main characters. * As listed above in the pros, I LOVE a strong heroine. However, at times, she was too over the top. She was the best at everything and constantly excelled and anything and everything. * I wasn’t a fan of the love triangles and there were a couple of these going on - however, I must say to my safe reader friends out there, once the hero and heroine hook up they are completely loyal and faithful to one another.
Overall, I'm glad I read this trilogy. It was fast paced and kept me hooked. I've already downloaded more of this writer's other work to check out.
I couldn't wait for The Devil's Wrath to come out. I have loved all of C.M. Owens books and this one didn't disappoint! With a few twists and turns, she had me laughing and crying throughout the whole thing. You definitely have to read this one!!!
I love the Faders trilogy. This third book was so amazing. I was so caught up in it that I couldn't put it down. I laughed and cried definitively the best one yet. Just love my C.M. Owens!
That was the best possible ending to the trilogy, in my opinion. I loved Kace's and Arena's love-war story, so to speak, so damn much! C: I read the first book three times. The second two times; and the third - one time. Hahaha.
The fact I started this on my birthday, and couldn't put it down should be a clear indication of just how AWESOME this book was! I've never screamed a loud "hell yea" like I did with this book. C. M. Owens doesn't disappoint
This book made me laugh out loud and cry. I fell in love with all the characters as well as the story. I highly recommend that you read not only this trilogy, but all the books this author has written!
C.M. does it again. I'm not a lover of paranormal but I love love loved this series. Still havn't managed to read something of C.M.'s that havn't been absolutely fantastic <3
There hasn't been a book that I've read that isn't fantastic. I have read several twice when new books are added to a series. Now waiting on the new books.
The ending is satisfying, but the journey to get to it will have you biting your nails. I was on the edge of me seat the entire read. Everyone should read this!
Awesome end to an epic trilogy! C.M. Owens had me laughing out loud and bawling my eyes out. Normally I'm sad to see the end of a story but this one tied up nicely.
