I already loved the first two books of the series and couldn’t wait for the third one. And I have to say, this book was even better than I had expected it.
As usual, Carly Compass takes the reader on a journey through the life of Gina, mother of four children. I can’t reveal much about the plot here without spoilers, but let me tell that we learn about her financial ruin, gain more knowledge about her tragic past, and fight for her marriage alongside her. The author managed to make me like characters I hated before, and hate characters I liked before, and that is an amazing feat. Every scene comes alive, every character is believable, and every new shock had me reel and race on to find out more. I needed tissues at several points, and I nearly shouted at my computer screen at others. The writing is that intense and powerful.
“Electric, The Resolution” makes you realize how many layers to a person and a life there are. Once again, the author criticizes society, norms and beliefs. She makes the heroine suffer and suffer, but she also gives her the strength to survive and grow from the pain. Somewhere deep, deep down, there’s a solution – if not a resolution – buried inside all the trouble.
Don’t let the title fool you: This book ends on a cliffhanger, and I’m biting my nails until I can grab Book IV and find out what on earth the author has up her sleeve now!

Masterful twist.

This, the third part in the saga of the main protagonist Gina, continues where book 2 left off. Again, it examines society and its inherited views through the microcosm of Gina's relationships in a very thoughtful and thought-provoking way. The twist at the finale utterly blindsided me. Recommended.

There is something very satisfying about reading Carly’s books. She has a delightful way of taking the reader through a gentle narrative, lulling them into a sense of cosiness before pouncing with an unexpected twist.
This is the third part of a story and does have that feel to it, but it also introduces new storylines to keep the overarching tale, fresh. The story beautifully focusses on the detail of everyday life, drawing the reader into the Parrot family up and downs. This is why, when trouble comes, the reader feels involved. I cannot say more without creating spoilers, but I can say this book contains some wry and dark humorous observations concerning human behaviour.
The end brings a cliff-hanger rather than resolution, which is good. It means there is another book to read. Cheers

This third book of the series is more exciting than the other two and deserves a five star rating. Gina's life continues with its many twists, turns and hard decisions. Gina is trying to get her life together and finding it a lot harder especially when a few unexpected things happen, no spoilers, you'll have to grab the books. I think it is best to read all three, but I also think you will find this one an interesting story without the other two. Carly Compass did a great job on this collection and I have a feeling through the author, readers are going to find Gina and her families lives are going to continue in unexpected ways.

OMG, Carly has totally done it again. This lady knows how to write a book where you can connect with the characters. I feel like I'm in this story and experiencing what's happening. There is so much happening. each volume is better than the last. Gina is faced with a lot of difficult circumstances and situations. She has found out a lot of information and confronted Brad about things in this volume. She has a fight a struggles ahead of her and I can't wait to see what's coming next. Gina is one hell of a strong character!! WOO HOO!!
