About the author

While still in her teens, Anna DePalo began her first novel. She wishes she could say that this early manuscript went on to receive numerous accolades and to bring her fame and fortune. Instead, that first attempt—well, all three pages of it—hit the trash heap, and she understood why many authors have burned their papers for posterity.

She has lived in Italy and England, graduated from Harvard, earned an advanced degree in political science, and practiced intellectual property law.

One day, she decided to give fiction writing another try, believing that having done some more living would help her tell the truth about life in the pages of made-up stories. This time she didn’t stop at three pages—or even ninety-three. absolutely loved it ! the poor sawyer was clearly out of his mind over tamara. 1st he convinced himself he had 2 marry her temporarily 2 acquire kincaid news, then he thought yes he's agreeable 2 make her pregnant 2 secure kincaid news. all along, he went berserk, mad wid lust !lol:P i simply loved tamara !her fiery temperament, her do-not-mess-wid-me attitude, her independence !she was magnificent, not only in looks but in personality as well. a true firecracker ! 2 match her red hair ! she did not let sawyer walk over her nor did she fall at his feet. n what an accomplished seducer our dear earl was ! like the time he brought her 2 visit his house n the journey ended in his bedroom !! the freaking asshole !lol:-P they nearly had sex but were unfortunately interrupted. neway great read, sizzling chemistry !

I really loved this book..great characters! Humor, some tears and HEA ending..book 1 of 3..next is Colin and Hawk. Look forward to reading them both.

D2034 Nov2011 Aristocratic Grooms #1 Tamara Kincaid is part of a deal, her father wants to keep his media empire in the family, by having Sawyer Langford, Earl of Melton marry her. Tamara discovers this deal has been changes when she goes to Sawyer's office to tell him she's pregnant. There she hears that her father now wants a child to insure his media company stayers in his family.
Tamara walks out without telling Sawyer a thing and moves out. Sawyer finds out when the clinic leaves a message changed get her ob appointment.
Two more couples to go, enjoyed this on and can't wait for the next one.

Nada melhor para pôr uma mulher bem disposta numa tarde chuvosa do que uma novela da Harlequin! Enredo excitante, muito amor, final feliz... É melhor, mais leve e mais romântico do que «as cinquenta sombras de Grey», de E. L. James, prometo. Uma história com personagens da alta sociedade, que dividem o património entre Nova Iorque e o Reino Unido.

i don't know... Was it good? was it bad? It was incomplete.
it's like being thirsty but just keep looking at a glass full of water, never drinking it. It wasn't profound. Their feeling, the bromance, the girlfriend; everything was just... plain.

One of the better romance novels I've read in a while! There was a bit of a yikes element with the whole pregnancy thing, but I think the author made it work. Great sex scenes!

I... did not like this book. Everything felt artificial. The connection/chemistry between the leads was forced and awkward, Sawyer spent so much time basically mocking Tamara and teasing her (not in a cute way) that it made it incredibly unbelievable that she'd end up falling in love. Tamara, for being an individual who dances to her own beat, just follows along and never really stands up for herself. Put these two things together with the near 10 year age gap between the H & h, it just fell completely flat. The friends, on both sides, were barely in the book and when they were it was incredibly lackluster. Tamara's father was the generic rich father who doesn't seem to care about his children's feeling but in the 11th hour shows up spouting wise advise and real affection. Also, the description of the book makes it sound like pregnancy will be a big part of this book, it's not. It happens literally at the end and makes everything feel rushed and forced. The whole thing was meh.

The reason this is getting two stars and not 1 is because the writing was good and the idea behind the story was good, it just wasn't executed very well. I think if they had been closer in age and if Tamara had pushed back more the chemistry that was supposed to be there would have shown up.

Kenapa gw ksh 4? soalnya nih novel berhasil membuat gw merasakan sakitnya si heroine pas tau kalo cowonya bikin kontrak ama bapak cewe kalo perusahaannya berhasil diakusisi ketika cowonya berhasil menghamili si cewe. padahal perjanjian cewe dan cowonya bakal cerai stlh 6bln-1thn

The hero was constantly laughing and mocking the heroine. I never felt that he was serious about her and the fact that he got his cake and ate it too was unbearable. I wish the heroine had taken the merger papers and ripped them apart. How can she be so easily swayed even after the deception?
