And it's finished! When my alarm went off, the first thing I did was checking the Steterkink Tumblr for a new chapter. My Steter fix even replaced my coffee fix. That's huge, folks. And even though I would've adored a massive accompanying fic, and even though Peter was a little too fluffy for my tastes in this one...









Okay, so maybe I'm okay with fluffy Peter *has melted into a puddle of goo*.

No really, I'm so obsessed with this guy. If he wasn't like two heads shorter than me, I'd have hired an abduction van, dudes.0_o

Eh, where was I? So even though I really wish I could've seen Derek's face for real, this was a fantastic multimedia project. Congrats to Taylorpotato for single-handedly putting Steter on the map!

I've been on a bunch of morning shifts. When the alarm goes off at 5 am the first thing I do is read the newest chapter of this.

Everything taylorpotato does with Stiles and Peter is awesome -- from heartbreaking to hilarious, and this little fic is definitely on the hilarious side.

I'm now starting to have slight moments of jittery panic when I realise it probably won't go on forever.

Why? WHY?

One of my favourite parts so far is when Cora finds out who Peter's sleeping with:

OMMFFFGGGGGGG. THE AWKWARD, SKINNY HIGH SCHOOL DUDE THAT WANTED TO BONE DEREK?

And Peter's response:

Yes. I suppose you could say he traded up.

Stiles and Peter meet on a sugar daddy website and the whole thing is told through a series of online chats and texts.

Most of which had me literally gut laughing.

Surprisingly good relationship development for the format. Peter becomes Stiles's "squishy snuggle wolf" and Stiles becomes Peter's "Princess".

There's pizza and stoned/drunk Stiles, cuddles, drunk texting, sex bets, snark, wit, awesome banter, a mention or two of heels and stockings and possessive Peter.

They make fun and torment Derek so hard. I know some Sterek people are gonna be butthurt, but IT WAS SO FUNNY!!!!! They made Derek ugly cry on Skype!!!! LOL!

Sorry. Not sorry.

The first playlist was so wrong and so right. OMFG! I laughed so hard. MADONNA'S MATERIAL GIRL?!!?!

But that second playlist... first a all, any playlist with Radiohead is a win but the whole thing is chock full of tunes I listen to regularly.

I have officially jumped on the Steter train.

Can you blame me? Just look at him:


So far, my Teen Wolf fanfic reading has been restricted to Sterek. It kind of felt like cheating to read other ships involving Stiles. But, I'm over it. Stiles and Peter's slightly-twisted relationship is too good to miss out on.

Here are some of the things I've learnt from this very creative fic:
- Stiles is the "prettiest Princess"
- Stiles is a "classy lady"
- Peter is a "squishy snuggle wolf"
- Peter is a controlling bastard, but that's just how he shows his love
- Stiles would commit murder if he could get away with it
- Peter and Stiles are both a bit off their rockers, and that's how they like it
- Stiles wants to be fucked repeatedly on a sunny beach, and Peter wants to fuck Stiles repeatedly on a sunny beach. It's like they're made for each other.

Oh, and it's possible for me to not like Derek. Who would have guessed?

Anyway, fun read. Bonus points for the kinky sexytimes in the The Way Our Chemicals Collide.

Now how do I find myself a hot sugar daddy like Peter?

Now if only taylorpotato would write a full on fic to go along with this, so that we could get all those little details that a story written in FB updates and text messages just can't give us.

So this is the first Steter I have read to completion ... and though it will probably also be the last, it is such a smartly contrived and unique piece of fan fiction that what I didn't feel for the ship is totally made up by how entertained I was in every other aspect of this work.

There are barely any full sentences. No paragraphs. Erratic punctuation and emoticons abound. Because this story unfolds in the same manner all stories unfold during this time we live in - over IM and social media. A series of text messages, e-mails, Facebook statuses and messages and Instagrams relay this Steter from the proposition through to the "I love yous". And not only is this fic a very cleverly composed piece using compelling casual dialogue (a perceptive study of interpersonal conversation it is) to tell the story and a number of photos from the actual casts' postings, but also an ingenious method of using mixed social media in an effective way to bring a believable fluid format to story telling.

Taylorpotato's Peter is my Peter. Clever, snarky, narcissitic, possibly ruthless and under all of it - likeable and as vulnerable as anyone else. As far as Stiles is portrayed ... okay, I guess. It is a bit hard for me, because Steter is not my ship. So Stiles reads OOC for me. I simply can't imagine Stiles choosing Peter, even this Peter - its in my head that Stiles goes with Derek and if Peter goes with anyone - its Lydia (another reason I don't ship Steter, I find Peter very het), but despite all the sorted notions stuck in my head, this is a five star effort. Every star for getting me to like a work - despite not really liking what it is about.

I mean, I don't think there was a misstep in the whole damn thing.

All in all? 4.5 to 5 stars. Because I yearn, literally yearn for an accompanying full length fic that captures all the missing (and sometimes probably painful & embarrassing) moments inbetween.
Don't get me wrong, this was downright great, awesome even. Funny & adorable. Peter is, admittedly, rather tame and harmless... you might even call him fluffy and lovely and still wouldn't be far off the mark. Which aren't the first character traits that come to mind when thinking of Peter Hale. So there's that.
But the idea and the execution were amazingly wonderful and I am sadder than sad that this is already the end. I will sure as hell miss these daily updates!

It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since I fell down the Steter rabbit hole. I don't regret a thing. I love this story just as much today as I did the first time. Thank you taylorpotato. Stiles will forever be Peter's princess.

As a die hard Sterek fan, I resist pairing Stiles with anyone else, but this was just great
Seeing how the relationship developed via text and email, was like eavesdropping on a friends.
because I haven't watched the TV series I worried that I wouldn't 'get' Peter, but he's such a charming, strange and bizarre man- and then I started to care.

I read this with a smile on my face the whole way through, I can't remember that last time I smiled this much over a 'book'..I would totally recommend that this is read on the bigger screen as well.

Anytime fanfic is dissed, I will point to this..and stick out my tongue

Wow, the first installment of this just blew me away! What an imaginative and fun new way to tell a story, and it makes it feel real. Dating site profiles, snippets of FB convo’s, and Playlists set the stage for what starts off as a sugar daddy relationship and develops into a real one. LOVED the daddy kink, loved the chemistry between the two, Peter’s possessiveness, and Stiles handling of him. Stiles knows how to manage and love on his Daddy!

I read the rest of the series as well, and the remainder is written stories which also have high steam factor, but I would really have loved more of the first. Cannot recommend this highly enough, this was just fun to read AND really sexy!
