Otherwise inaccessible results of current brain research are revealed in this book, making it possible for a layperson to use these valuable findings in the real world in order to refresh diminishing memory skills. Interactive instruments-puzzles, games, and self-tests-based on current cognitive research stimulate and renew a wide range of mental abilities, from math to map reading. This book shows how the gradual toll aging exacts on cognitive skills can be slowed down and even reversed, just as aerobic condition and muscle mass can be rebuilt.
