A dream job tasting the city’s finest food and writing about it? Perfection. What could go wrong? When she’s assigned to review a new, buzz-worthy restaurant, she expects gourmet dishes and a glowing write-up.
What she doesn’t expect is the man behind it—Rocco. Her ex. The one who shattered her heart and vanished like a ghost in a snowstorm.
Now he’s back, smoldering as ever, and stirring up more than just her appetite.
Can Olivia keep it professional when the past refuses to stay buried? Or will one night reignite everything she thought she’d left behind?
This little spicy second chance romance absolutely unhinged me. Olivia & Rocco reconnect years later in the worst/best way possible and the tension is feral. Forced proximity + snowed in + “we’re definitely not talking about our past” energy had me swooning, screaming, and raiding my fridge at midnight thanks to those food descriptions. Natalina brings the spice + banter we love but also makes you feel every messy emotion with them.
It’s a solid spicy novella that throws you on a full rollercoaster — the highs, the lows, the “just kiss already” chaos, and that delicious second chance payoff. Olivia’s career colliding with Rocco’s world = simmering looks and banter that cuts. Enjoyable, chaotic, impossible to put down, and exactly the kind of ride that ruins you for other books after.
I enjoyed this little spicy, second chance romance. Olivia & Rocco reconnect years after he broke her heart, which of course happens when she is sent to review his restaurant. Which by the way i’m sure her boss/SIL knew exactly what she was doing there! Being snowed in together forces them to face their past & for their feelings to resurface. The tension between them was so good. Also, the food descriptions left me feeling hungry!
I love a forced proximity romance, when you add in the 2nd chance at love I was literally swooning.
Natalina has delivered the spice and the banter that we love, but also manages to convey the feelings and emotions that her MCs are going through taking us on the roller coaster with them through all the highs and the lows that come with genuine connection and enduring love.
This was the perfect Sunday afternoon read and I recommend it to everyone to dip their toes into Natalinas world.
"The love I once felt for him now feels like a heavy weight on my chest, suffocating me with its intensity."
That's Amore is such a quick and easy read with everything you love. Second Chance, Forced Proximity, Spice and a HEA. Olivia and Rocco are good characters who find themselves together again, wondering if love really can conquer all. A great palette cleanser that will heat things up and serve you a nice delicious experience.
This was a spicy fast paced read. With under 100 pages of course it's fast paced! It's a great little novella that gets you straight into the story from the beginning.
Spicy, forced proximity, snowed in, 2nd chances romance an enjoyable read. Olivia a food critic must write a review of a restaurant of the newest Michelin star chef, the second she walks in, realises its her ex Rocco, it blows her world into smoke. A blizzard forces them to havto shelter together for the night, bringing up what really happened those years ago that broke Olivia's heart. Finally its there time and it takes them a while to get there but 2nd chances can be the best chances
