Never Bargain with a Prince of Hell is a standalone fantasy romance. Chore, a demon in the realm of Lust, has just been fired from her job in Hell and finds herself in a tough situation. She’s been set to Rapture and be thrown out of Hell. When she decides to try to negotiate with the Prince of Lust, Will an arranged marriage end up being everything she ever wished for?
This was a fun read! Chore was a strong character and I enjoyed her sass in this book. Asmodeus was a complex character and i liked learning more about his downfall into Hell. The world building and twist on typical Hell/Underworld lore was really fun. I would love more stories in this world! I did feel like this book was a little bit of an instalove story for my own preferences, but given the nature of their arranged marriage it also makes sense for the story
Overall this was a fun 4 star read! I enjoyed these characters and their story! I’d love to read more in this world! This book does have some darker elements, so please check triggers if you’re sensitive. This book did have spice throughout with some fun non-human anatomy, so overall three flames for spice
If you’re a fan of fantasy romance with spicy demons, forced proximity and unique world building, then absolutely pick this one up!

This was a wild and crazy story in the best possible way. I'm not a fan of third-person narration, but the author has some magical skills that had me forget what perspective I was reading and made me feel like I was inside of the book. I was hooked and had a hard time putting it down.
This book focuses on marriage of convenience trope and both characters had an agenda. Chorè needs Asmodeus, Prince of Lust to save her from rapture. Asmodeus sees a way to reclaim his soul from Lucifer.
Between the snappy banter between the two, the genuine bond that formed, and those SPICY scenes...phew! 🥵 Top notch! I was sad the book was over. This was a good read!

Mary E. Jung is the queen of monster romances! I am just obsessed with every character she creates and always look forward to her new releases! Never Bargain with a Prince of Hell is a fun fast paced angsty romance that has a ton of action & spice.
In this book, readers follow Chore, a demoness about to face rapture, as she does everything she can to save herself and her friends from meeting their demise. In comes Asmodeus, Hell’s very own Prince of Lust, who after hearing her plea, decides she can be useful to him. After all, he needs her to retrieve something extremely important to him. But what happens when their little arrangement turns real?
I loved Asmodeus and Chore’s relationship. Even though this was a fast paced romance, it took them time to actually fall for each other, which was refreshing to read! The spice in this book was next level and it was so much fun to read. I’m excited to read the next book in this series!
