We Hunt Monsters #15

We Hunt Monsters 15

Rate this book
Terrifying monsters abound.

Keith faces his toughest challenges yet as he faces Lycanthian, the seemingly unstoppable Scion and first Guardian of the World Wall. Defeating the first guardian is only the first step if he ever wants to reach the final World Monster hiding within.

New mysteries arise and discoveries are made, showing that Monstros is far more expansive than he'd first believed. The Inquisitors haven't been idle either, moving in the shadows as they plan to take him down for good.

We Hunt Monsters is a LitRPG series set in a fantasy world. This book contains multiple stat sheets, item descriptions, epic quests and of course, loads of monsters.

1.5/5

This was definitely my least favorite book of the series. The series itself has been steadily going downhill and the only reason I was continuing was to see the ending. Imagine my surprise when I reached the end of this book only to find out that there is not one but two more books left...

The plot itself drags on, with new barriers and challenges being added 15 books deep. New monsters and boss classes are introduced which really irked me the wrong way. Instead of wrapping up, it seems the author wanted to drag the story out making each event much less entertaining than it should. Keith has random powerups that are also followed by random limitations which seems to just hinder the whole concept of getting stronger. The side characters are a joke with all the automatons barely even surface level of characterization besides adoring Keith. The Glutton continues to evade, with no new answers on what the endgame. The writing and fight scenes themselves were also a drag as you always knew Keith was going to win just how, but here there is a false sense of tension. I found myself skimming the pages just picking out the key events.

Overall will probably skim the next two books just to have closure, although I am expecting more of the same.

continues to pump the dmg and the upgrades.

Boy oh boy, this series speak directly to my soul and only continues to be my favorite out of the entire lot rpg genre. More fights, more upgrades, more dmg, more stats, more skills, more OP goodness.
I’m now extremely interested how it’ll go beyond, is there a civilization?, why is Keith on this world, why does the trickster want him to finish these monster, why is the final boss trappped, why is the final boss here in the first place. What is the point of this planet in the multiverse? Why!!!!!!! I can’t wait to find out in the next two books!

Great book

The book was a lot of fun, there were dome morally ambiguous moments, but over all I enjoyed it. MC becomes more powerful, we get some surprising new allies and a surprise direct involvement by the system itself. What i did not like was the cockroach villain that never dies. Especially the actions of said villain at the very end were a bit annoying. I look forward to book 16 and hope it comes out soon.

awesome series

This is the best book so far. I think having two more books in the series will be a great way to close it out. Some series are meant to have an end and we all want Keith to get his family back. He’s waited long enough.

Extroidinary!

All Hail Aaron Oster! Out of the hundreds of books I’ve read in this genre, this series has given me so much pleasure. I was genuinely miffed when his power was banked by the system but I have high hopes for his coming adventures!

Great

Another fantastic read! I love the fight scenes, especially with how over powered he has become. Hopefully we don't have to wait too awful long for the next book.
