It's official my new book boyfriend is Dr Damien Alexander.
We meet Dr Damien Alexander who by his own admission says that he's poisonous and that once you get a taste if him you will become addicted to him and then he take w h at he wants from you and then destroy you. Damien is a man who knows what he wants and takes it,he doesn't care who gets hurt in the process. Damien is a dentist who's not had the best of luck lately and is carrying a lot of baggage around with him.
When he meets a lady named Audrey he becomes fascinated by her, he loves her innocence and that she isn't fake like the ladies he's used to taking out for dinner.
Audrey Michaels is a Californian girl who's escaped California to escape something secret in her hometown and move to Texas to try and make it on her own. She's a very innocent girl. Audrey is over the moon when she lands a internship and work at a dentistry. Little does she realise is that the sexy stranger that she had dinner with will in fact be her boss.
They both get a shock when they realise that Damien and despite Damien telling Audrey that he's bad news and will end up destroying her neither can deny the chemistry and start dating. The chemistry between Damien and Audrey is scorching in some parts of the book I absolutely felt myself blushing and needing a cold glass of water to cool myself down.
But we both know that they are carrying secrets around with them and the problems with secrets is once people start asking questions they can't stay secrets for long and answers need to be explained.

A good start to this series, I'm not sure if I'd be okay enough to ignore what other people have told me about getting into a relationship with a man like Damien. If one or two people tried to dissuade me, I might chalk that up to jealousy. But more than people tried to warn her and she chose not to listen. Plenty of drama and secrets, can't wait to see how this unfolds.

Oh man, does this book leave you with a cliffhanger. It took me a few chapters to really get into the story but once I did I was hooked. For most of the book you know that something must have happened to Audrey in her past but it's not until the last few chapters that everything becomes clear, and then it's simply heartbreaking.
I would recommend this book and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series to find out what happens.

Damien is a man I could get attached to. He is a man that takes what he wants and the heck with everyone else. Watch out Audrey because his eyes are set on you but he doesn't want a one night stand. You can see the chemistry and lust in their eyes. Only thing is, is he is her boss. He's a dentist and she wants to be one herself.
I loved the way you get to see how each is feeling when something is happening to them. I enjoyed that the author just opened up with their deep dark secrets slowly. You never knew what would happen next. This book just pumped me up and I had no idea how many pages this book had at first. I just seemed to flow along with this book and it had me wanting more. It just picks you up and puts you in the book.
Boy was I surprised when I heard his middle and last name. I almost lost it because that is my sons first and middle name. Nicholas Alexander was the name and it made me feel I had more in common with this book. I can't tell you how much of a great job this author is because there are no words to describe for what she did with this book. Now I was disappointed when at the end you think that everything will finally come to an end, and guess what? A cliffhanger.
I can't wait for the next one comes out. I want to read it and in a way I'm scared of what the author has wrote. Will I be happy or taken on a great adventure to end in another cliffhanger?
Now there is a lot of meat candy in this book and that includes Audrey's two over-protective brothers. Who knows what will happen next.

Wow, this is a rough story to read. If you have had anything traumatic happen and have triggers, this is a book you will want to be careful reading. It covers a multitude of issues as a couple of people, Audrey and Damien, meet one another at a kickboxing class at the local center and start dating. Who is he and what does she quickly find out about him within days of meeting him and having a dinner date with him? They both have their secrets, stories about who they are and their past that are untold. Can they make it through everything? Audrey is shocked to find Damien in California when she goes back for court. More over, finding him with her best friend and brothers. How do they know each other? The brothers and Damien? I will say this, the book leaves off with one hell of a cliff hanger. Be prepared. You will want to read Speak just after reading Untold. The Lies We Tell is book one in the Lie With Me series, and it introduces us to Damien and Audrey.
Damien is known to ruin women, so anyone involved with him must tread lightly. Except Audrey. Audrey refuses to heed other's warnings and suggestions and jumps into a relationship with Damien.
Here's the problem though-these two harbor some pretty intense secrets-the kind of secrets that will blow their entire world to smithereens, and when this happens there may not be anyone left standing.
I enjoyed this story. I thought the writing was powerful and raw. Expect a cliff. I am jumping into book two right after I post this review!

I'm not even sure where to start. I liked Audrey. She had something bad happen to her and she tries to move on from that. Damien is hard to like. He has moments where I could see good in him but it was hard. Now, the three stars... there are a lot of questions left unanswered and I question if any will be answered in the next book. There is a lot of repetition and things are drawn out too much. Having more than one character with the same name is very confusing. I will be reading book two and can only hope things are better and have answered my questions.

This is the first book that I have read by this author, and it was amazing. I loved everything about it. If you don't like a lot of swearing, sex clubs, steamy sex than this book is not for you. If none of that bothers you than I say go read it. The book does end on a cliffhanger. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

This story was all over the place...it felt like too much was trying to be put in the story ...things that should have made me feel so many emotions and I felt nothing...there were times i was so confused about what I was reading I was totally lost..Damien couldnt seem to remember the promises he asked her to keep from one chapter to the next

This is the first book in a new series from this talented author. Damien had a reputation of ruining women, and Audrey, despite the warnings, cannot stay away. These characters both have secrets which could destroy them. This is a well written story which is raw, gritty, and emotional, and I look forward to reading the next book.

Damien is known to ruin women. Women who enter into a relationship with him know this and don't expect much. Then he meets Audrey and she doesn't want to listen to others advice to not get involved with Damien. Book is full of secrets, drama, and danger that could come to the surface and do much harm. So interesting. Going to read book #2.

Whilst the book was enjoyable i found long in places back and forth etc.

This book starts with Audrey and Damiens relationship. These two are hiding some pretty intense secrets that will ruin everything, and when this happens there may not be anything left of them.
While a good story I felt it was too long and don't like cliffhangers I am getting ready for book 2 now.

This book kept me intrigued with the story of Damien and Audrey. They both have bad things in their past that haunt them. Damien tries to bring Audrey into his world slowly so he doesn't frighten or hurt her. This is a great romance!

this was a really good book! it was just way to long . its like it kept reapeating over and over again. there both keeping secrets that could destroy them both. he is a bad man and women should stay away from him, but she wants him.

A good read with a twisty story line. Damien does not seem to be able to make up his mind about what he wants. He is hot and cold and confusing Audrey along the way. The other stories twisted through this one are interesting. Waiting to read what happens next!!
