I really enjoyed the first installment, however this one I just couldn't get into and didn't feel the connection with the characters. There was hot sex but other than that I found myself being bored. Ace is trying to get Alicia to agree to a threesome with Adam, will he convince her? Can Ace keep his relationship with Adam secret? You have to read to find out.

This installment is a bridge between what was and what can be. Adam is tired of being Ace's dirty little secret; Ace is tired of not having all that he wants and needs and Alicia is confused. After giving into Ace's charms, she stunned by his declaration that he wants to have a threesome with her and a guy named Adam.

The pace of this book seems a little more rushed than the first installment. I enjoyed the characters and the sex scenes were hot, but I felt that there is something missing.

Will I read book 3? You betcha.

In installment 2 of this hot read, things definitely start to move as Ace would wish. However, there is a level of uncertainly which is endearing and I expect will be exploited further by Ms Orman in future releases. I am fascinated to see how the MC angle is going to be dealt with, let alone the incendiary twist at the end ...

Was I frustrated that it ended when it did? Most definitely, but it will ensure that I keep a close eye out for the arrival of Moment #3.

Explicit sex? Check. Sexy Characters? Check. I'm thinking this book should have been called triple A...Adam, Ace, and Alicia. I usually only read M/M if there is a submissive male but the author did a nice job of making the scenes pretty hot. The story is kind of secondary to the explosive sex scenes and it was hard to start this part because of the first person narrative. Other than that I enjoyed it very much. Overall entertainment is four stars.

In the Moment: Part Two picks up shortly after the end of part one. Ace is biding his time as he tries to figure out how to persuade Alicia to give his ménage proposal a chance. At the same time, Adam is getting tired of being Ace's dirty little secret so he decides to get to know Alicia to find out what it is about her that has caught Ace's attention. The fact that Ace hasn't let Adam in on his ménage idea is what makes Adam's approach effective. Because he's not trying to get into her pants, Alicia is able to relax and she becomes comfortable with Adam. The combination of her comfort and an episode of clumsiness gives Adam the chance to act on his desires that have been building as he got to know her. Ace plays the situation to his advantage and gives Alicia a taste of how good it could be if she were to say yes. Thank goodness mine wasn't the only appetite whetted by that scene! As hot as it was it had nothing on what happened when the three met up at her apartment after the bar closed. With the amount of heat being generated by the MF, MM, and MMF scenes in this installment, I don't know if my Kindle will survive the eventual MFM scene the series promises. Once again Ms. Orman hooked me with the ending because I have to know what happens next.

***Since my copy of this book is an ARC, I cannot speak of any errors I may have or may not have found***

Part 2 picks up shortly after part 1. Ace wants Alicia on board and uses Adam to get it done. There's even more sex in this one than in part 1, but it flows with the direction the story is going in. The scenes are hot and longer than they were in part 1 as well.

Part 2 ends in an even juicer cliffhanger than part 1. I can't wait to see what happens in part 3!

Book 2 in the series gets HOTTER!! Adam pursues Alicia. Ace is now more determined to make his plan happen. They finally get together and it's off the chart steamy, hot and sexy. Ace wants to be with Adam, but there are some skeletons in his closet that don't let him be totally open. Will they be able to make this work? Then Adam receives a text message on his phone. Will what Adam reveals on his phone be the end? It's a hell of a cliffhanger. The cat might be out of the bag.

I liked this story a lot! I loved how Adam didn't take any of Ace's crap. He stood up for himself. He made Ace realize that he wasn't cool with him stinging him along.
I liked that he stood his ground.

The sex in this book was so spot on. So damn hot!
I liked how they didn't push Alicia.
They kind of let things just flow and everything just unfolded between them naturally.

Ace is still hiding the fact that he's Bi. I hope he speaks up about it soon!!

The ending of this book was left off in a little cliffhanger.

This is book 2 and its was steamy and sexy. Ace, Alicia and Adam all get together in this book and and the sex was hot! Loved that when Alicia got with Adam she was hoping he was Ace's Adam, but wasn't sure. It was intense and entertaining. And Rachael did it again, she left us with a wonderful cliff hanger. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Now that was a well devised plan Ace. Alicia did not know what hit her but the sensation was a censory overload. Part two of In The Moment is the next few chapters in the story ending in a cliffhanger. This part in the series touches on a more sensitive subject of Ace not wanting to admit to his being bi and getting bullied or teased. But if he is unwilling to accept the full triad of a M/M/F relationship can there even be one? Guess I will have to read Part three to find out.

Once again - HOT!!! Loved this installment and can't wait for the next. I love how open and honest the trio were with each other. Despite the story taking place in a very short amount of time, it felt developed.

I love how Adam and Alicia were feeling each other out at first, but were willing to literally jump at each other when the time came.

I also like the voyeuristic nature of this relationship. Watching each other is just as satisfying.

Seriously cannot wait for more of the story, because this one left me wanting SO much more! What's going to happen?!!?

If the first installment was hot, the second is scorching. When Ace, Adam and Alicia finally decided to explore Ace’s threesome idea, the chemistry is explosive.

With a wicked, naughty imagination, Orman’s sex scenes are steamy. Part two introduces the first full-on threesome; it also gives us a couple of wonderfully wild scenes between Ace and Adam.

In part two, all three characters are more relaxed and playful. Defenses are down, inhibitions are gone and these three beautiful people make the most of every opportunity...and orifice.

Orman delivers these installments in bite-sized morsels and I’m once again left hanging at the end, waiting eagerly for next month’s installment.

I liked that we got more of Adam’s point of view in this book. I like ace but I will admit that Adam is my favourite. I felt sorry for him because he wanted to settle down, he liked Ace but he was kept as a dirty little secret. But not any longer – as we later find out. I liked that although Adam was jealous of Alicia, he wasn’t mean to her. If you’ve read part one then this book is easy to follow and easy to read in one sitting. Again I wasn’t hooked, I may give the next book a chance at some point but I am not sure at the moment.

Having finally gotten Alicia to give in with his advances, all he has to do now is convince her to let Adam join them. Ace wants them both. He wants them to get hot and steamy together. But can he get both Adam and Alicia to agree?
Adam is jealous of the bartender that Ace has a thing for. Deciding to see what has Ace hooked, he starts talking to her at the bar, trying to get to know her. He wants something more in his life. He wants to settle down. But Ace is a biker that hides his bi sexual orientation meaning he is Ace’s dirty secret. When Alicia gets talking to a handsome guy named Adam at the bar, she cannot help but wonder if he is Ace’s Adam. When she accidentally spills something on his top they soon find themselves alone in the cleaning closet and it isn’t long until Ace is joining them. Is Ace finally getting his dirty fantasy?

The beginning of part two looks as if this menage may never happen, but as Adam knows Ace is secretly harboring a penchant for the pretty bartender and his tastes are definitely not singular - he sets out on a mission, get to know the bartender and seduce her into their relationship.
Finally we get the menage we have all been panting for - it will leave you a hot and panting wreck on the floor. HOLY HOTNESS!! I literally just melted. Rachael Orman brings the seriously sinfully hot alpha and the trio engage in sex that will literally leave you sweating and wanting more... Well played Rachael Orman - I was literally panting after that!
This book ends on a MASSIVE cliffy and I was so very happy that I did not have to wait to read book 3!

This book continues were book #1 ended. Just like the first book... all ingredients for a great book are there, but something feels 'off'. Can't put my finger on it, but somehow everything just doesn't *feel* right. I still didn't feel the connection with the characters; even in the sex scenes I felt that there is something missing. I started this series because I needed a - preferably short(er) - menage book. After reading book #1 I was intrigued and wanted to read book #2, but now I'm not sure whether I want to continue? Maybe if I need another short menage book, I'll pick up book #3 but only because it's short and not because I absolutely need to know how the story continues and unravels.

I swear after reading Part one of this series of Rachael Orman's, I just about needed the fire fighters to come around and put me out, but then I read part two and the chances of combusting have increased to an 'extreme' category.
I loved it. I'm loving the relationship developing between Ace and Adam and that Alicia has opened herself up to sexual possibilities. I love how Rachael can write a story that despite being short, is certainly not short of storyline, drama, or smoking hot sex.
The sex in this second book of the In The Moment series is HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
The ending had me yelling, tearing at my hair, and screaming "NOOOOOOO!!!!"
Now I have to wait for book 3 and I can tell you now, patience is not my strong suit.

FINALLY some threesome action !! I am an addict of it and so I was thrilled when Adam made his move on Alicia and Ace walked in on them !! Woohooo thats how I like it !! So beyond the hot sex we still have the storyline of Ace keeping his relationship with Adam a secret. Adam is hoping to change that once Alicia is involved but somebody else may have a different idea !! A stolen moment , the trees , the great outdoors and someone with a phone or camera to record an hot moment between lovers. What will happen when the secret comes out ?

This is not a standalone. The sequence must be followed. The 5 star storyline and characters extend and develop in each separate book. It is written as a continuous flow. Each beginning starts where the previous leaves off. Smooth transition and pick up. A nice amount of background to refresh.
Entertaining and interesting. A very quick easy read. Well written. Get to follow the advancement and growth of this unique love affair. Prepare for some HOTT EROTIC scenes. Enjoy the two go to a three!

Adam goes to the bar to check out Alicia and see why Ace has been ignoring him. When Ace brings him on board with trying to get Alicia to have a threesome with them, things start to pick up. Alicia wonders is this Adam is the one Ace wanted to bring into their sex life and soon it becomes quite clear he is.

One smoking hot sex scene. Who wouldn't want to smoking hot buff guys all over them. Great characters with some intense attraction. Looking forward to the third part with how the second one ended.
