Review Title: Heavenly Possibilities (review of Think Like Heaven by Bob Hazlett)
Reviewer: Janice S. Garey
***** 5 Stars

If you want to go deeper with God into the possibilities available to those who will fully commit at a deeper level with God, Bob Hazlett can be a reliable guide into the depths. The book is reader friendly with its opening Tweet quotes from Bob at the beginning of each chapter, to the breakout highlighted thoughts, and finally to the end of each chapter, "Thinking Like Heaven," questions for thought and discussion.

I have been reading the book through a difficult time when my family faces major health issues. It has been a great book to see me through such a time. It encourages me to think positively during what could be a depressing time. It helps me to see things from a higher perspective rather than from a gloomy earth bound dimness.

I have especially enjoyed reading about the surprise factor involved in seeing God answer prayers. I have experienced that myself so I know the author is speaking truth about how God reveals Himself through His chosen answers and related timing to prayers. Persistence in sticking with God shows great faith and does make a difference.

Thanks to bookfun.org for giving me this book in exchange for reading it and posting my honest review. I believe all Christians and seekers will benefit from reading this book. Your faith will soar upwards as you read accounts of possibilities available to all who get with God, stick with God, and continue to go the full distance with Him.

Think Like Heaven is an inspirational book that gives readers clear, constructive, comprehensive truths about changing their mindsets. Mindsets that are heavy with negativity, criticism and fear to that of restoration, redemption and righteousness. Bob Hazlett, speaker, and mentor, with strong spiritual giftings of healing and prophecy, begins at the beginning to show his readers that if Heaven's thinking is what we are after we have to know that God chose us and He created the world with us in mind. He assures his readers that even though we are each individuals we are gifted with kingdom creativity and God is waiting for us to allow Him to work in and through us to change the world around us. There are eleven well-written and Biblically based chapters in the book each beginning with a pertinent "hashtag Tweet" and ending with "Thinking like Heaven" discussion questions. Hazlett blends the truths he is teaching with his own real life experiences and stories of others, such as, Harriet Beecher Stowe and George Washington Carver, who have transformed the world around them by acting God-given dreams and ideas.
I received a copy of this book through The Book Club Network (bookfun.org) in exchange for my honest review. I have posted reviews on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Deepershopping.com, Christianbook.com, Bookfun.org, Booksamillion.com, and GoodReads.

Author Bob Hazlett's ideas are clear and concise. As he compares God to time. Bob says, `We cannot see God with our natural, physical eyes...we cannot see time or hold it in our hands, but we see its effects.
The theme of `Think Like Heaven` is a prophetic reality based on Kingdom truth (pg 19). The genre is Spiritual Growth. This quote from page (73) sums up the book. "When the accuser tells us to hide, we know better than to listen to him. We know that we are not called to be ashamed; we are called to climb up on Daddy's chair."
At the end of each chapter are in-depth "Thinking of Heaven" study questions. Great for individual or group study. Each participant could use one day to think about and ponder each question for that week. I am not sure everyone would agree with all the author's objectives. Such as speaking in tongues when you don't know what to pray. Personally, I have not come to a definite conclusion about speaking in tongues.
Although I didn't agree with everything the author states, I do believe it's a book well written.

Think Like Heaven was an interesting read about how we view the world as Christians. Is our focus of life earthly or heavenly? What are the voices that we listen to the most? Siting examples from the Bible, like David, Peter, and Paul, and using his own life as an example, author Bob Hazlett encourages us to think like heaven. In other words, listen for God’s voice. Read your Bible. Know whose you are, to whom you ultimately belong, and where you are going. The Bible says God created the heavens and the earth, the seen and the unseen so start thinking about heaven and tune out the disruptions here on earth, or as he calls them the “hitchhikers”. Thoughts from the atmosphere (background of our world, some to get us to spend more money), the accuser (Satan), and thoughts of adversity (what we fear, or think we cannot accomplish) instead we need to listen the God of heaven, His Son Jesus and His words of Truth. This book is filled with applications and questions to help our thought processes in that direction. I received a copy for an honest review from The Book Club Network, Inc. and the opinions are my own.

The author writes in a flowing manner that makes his tenets easy to follow, consider and implement. Each chapter builds on the previous one and ends with some great discussion questions. I can understand why Mr. Hazlett is a much sought-after motivational speaker and author. He uses personal or contemporary events to explain his points and uses scripture in an easy to understand manner. The book is uplifting and encourages everyone to recognize their passions and God-given abilities so that they can use them more fully and grow. The result? A more positive outlook and changed life! But the author reminds you that the choice is ultimately your own---he does not tell you that you are wrong if you do not agree with him fully either.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher but that did not influence this review in any manner.

I say "amen" to what Lance Wallnau says in the Foreword. Bob Hazlett's thought processes, as reflected in this book, are original and thought-provoking. Filled with enticing chapter titles and sound-byte phrases (Heavenly Minded = Earthly Amazing; Out of Your Mind and into God's) he offers a fresh perspective on concepts that enables the reader to actually change, rather than just being inspired to think about it. Instead of praying continuously for God to shine a light on my path every day (not a bad prayer) this book helped me to change my thinking. By practicing the principles I'm better able to align my thoughts with God's or at least more quickly recognize when my thoughts and actions are NOT God-like. Two thumbs up!

This book was inspiring, encouraging with entertaining stories woven throughout, engaging, and challenging. All things I love in a great devotional book - giving me depth and truth to chew on throughout the day until I come back the next day for my next portion. Great for personal devotions, reading with one person to talk about what learning, or Bible study/book chat.

I received this book for free from The Book Club Network in exchange for my honest review. I have posted my review on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Goodreads.
