When Wall Street Journal and USA Today Best Selling Author's nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
Natasha’s writing style is so enjoyable and seamless, and I love a hockey romance x accidental pregnancy… But this felt like a little too much miscommunication for how much spice it had. And I loved the spice- but it felt disproportionate and oversaturated compared to their connection. And the Instalove hit a little too hard on this one.
Read as an audiobook, and I will say I think it made it more enjoyable! Fantastic narrators!
4.25/5 ⭐️ ugh this was so fun and flirty and i unfortunately am a sucker for a pregnancy trope. it was probably more insta lusty than i typically would want and the fight was soooo ridiculous but it was still so fun!
I love how Natasha tells new stories about familiar characters! The chemistry between Jax & Arielle is sizzling. Their story is engaging, interesting, and captivating.
Only for Tonight just didn't do it for me. I pushed myself to finish it, hoping I'd become more invested in the story, but that never really happened.
The cover (the blue illustrated edition) was what originally caught my attention, and I went in expecting a quick, cute read. Unfortunately, the book felt cringey and immature, with more smut than substance. I liked Jaxon's immediate commitment and the FMC's strength when dealing with the crazy ex, but that's about all I took away from it. For a hockey romance, there was also surprisingly little hockey.
