There's just one problem with this book, and it's the fact that I need more of both it and the characters right away!

After mostly having read (and loved) Robins's YA books previously, and then reading her adult "Not so bad" which I didn't connect with, I was really trying to go into this one without any particular expectations. However, just a few chapters in, I struggled with being able to put it down and ultimately ended up devouring it in less than 24 hours.

The story is a lovely small-town, slow-burn romance where the romance isn't the sole focus, but instead we really get to connect with all the characters, the small town vibes, and most importantly - the animals. While I'm really not a fan of the miscommunication trope, I felt like this book handled it in a very realistic, and therefore non-frustrating, way where it's clear that both of the main characters stumble and miss out on certain things simply because they are unknowingly interested in each other. Also, the finale to the book was incredibly exciting and I flew through the last couple of chapters just trying to reach that very happy ending.

Luckily for me, this is just the first part of a new series, so now I'm eagerly waiting until I can visit Bridlewood Creek again :)

Small town, cozy romance. Evie is a successful wedding planner, if a bit outspoken. She returns home to Bridlewood Creek and ends up staying longing than she intended. With her aunt making new plans, Evie reevaluates her own life and determines that she too is ready for a change. Jack is a fun part of the possibilities before her.

Evie, Jack and the supporting characters are all great. The story is entertaining and not too predictable. The animals and the teens bring good energy into the story. There is some swearing and chaste kisses. 3.5 stars.

There is something really intriguing about this romance book right here. I LOVED the plot, characters Jack and Evie and of course the HEA. I also found the small-town vibe to be sweet and romantic and sounds like a place I would want to escape too as well. I recommend reading this romance story about Jack and Evie it's worth being late to any appointments.

Loved this book, I received an ARC copy and couldn’t put it down! I’ve read all of the author’s YA novels and was excited for this one, it was a slow-burn romance with a lot of miscommunication but they get there in the end!

This was a clean small town romance.

Evie is a party planner that’s had enough of her partner, her ex-boyfriend. She runs to her aunt’s house in Bridlewood Creek. She chooses to not answer her phone or e-mail from him. When her best friend’s daughter has issues with a horse, she it in. She starts working with the original owner of the horse, Jack. They get along some and fight in other places. Jack is raising his sister. Wha tis on the horizon for the Jack and Evie? Will Evie be going back to the city?

This was a good story. I liked the characters and there are a few twists and turns. But I like the small town, and even though everyone is in your business, they also care and are there to help out. This was a good read.

I love reading horse stories by Tudor. They always have horse information that rings true and are made up of interesting characters. And often, there is a nice romance thrown in. Her latest release is the first book in the Bridlewood Creek books. Coming Home to Bridlewood Creek tells the tale of Evie Brocklebank.

An adorable small town story! Wonderfully written with heartwarming, charming characters who are easy to love, as well as the animals! There is a perfect balance of chaos, sweet, humor, community and family. It was a really fun, heartfelt, cozy and entertaining, I loved every page of this delightful read.

He was trying to survive rising her sister and providing for both of them. Evie and Jack’s paths wouldn’t have crossed if she wasn’t back in Bridledwood Creek but can they find each other and have a future together? A great love story

I loved this book, it is a winner on all fronts. The story is deeply engaging from beginning to end, the characters are simply delightful, and the horses are hilariously amusing. Highly recommended!

It is easy to read, sweet story, which action mostly takes place in the small town. Characters are well developed and funny. I enjoyed the fact, that the story was written from different perspectives and that the horses are part of the story.

When Evie flees to her aunt's house in Bridlewood Creek, the town where she grew up, she wasn't thinking of romance, she just needs a place to think and recoup after a setback in her very successful wedding planner career.
Jack wasn't thinking of finding love, after all he's raising and in charge of his sister Molly.
But these two keep finding each other and there is always something there, would they surrender to their feelings or would they keep fighting them?
Wonderful book with warm and credible characters and a story that will melt your heart and make you rule for them.

This is the first book of a new series by Tudor Robins. The main character, Evie, goes home to Bridlewood Creek for an annual town festival but ends up staying past the weekend. She meets some new folks – Jack and Molly – who have moved into town since she’s been away and catches up with her aunt and old friends. While she’s home, she is forced to look at her life and decide what her future really holds for her. There is definitely some slow-burn romance going on between her and Jack that made me root for them both! Between the horses (and donkey!), the kids and her aunt’s secret, you are kept wondering what will happen next. Evie, Jack and all of the supporting characters are written so well you feel like you know them. I have to say that this little town is just picture-perfect and is a place I wish I could move to. This is a complete story with no cliff-hanger but there is definitely more story to tell. I cannot wait for the next book. I highly recommend this to lovers of small-town, slow-burn romances with found family and animals.

Tudor Robins has several other completed series available that are all wonderful and that I highly recommend if you enjoy this book. I think I have read pretty much everything of hers and love her writing style.

Another cozy read by Tudor Robins. This one is very reminiscent of a classic Hallmark movie: big city girl has a major life crisis and comes home to reset or rather hide out only to be thrown into endless encounters with the hot eligible bachelor in said small town. It’s a cliche for a reason. It’s classic, it’s cozy, it’s comforting and oh so sweet and Miss Robins writes it ever so refreshingly from the lens of a horse girl.
Small-town romances with horses will always be my achille’s heel and if they’re yours too, please go pick this one up! There’s a short story at the end about aforementioned hot eligible bachelor and how he ended up in said small town!
As always, thank you to Ms. Tudor Robins for an early copy of Coming Home, I've loved entering Bridlewood Creek just as much as any of her other works.

Evie, a top Wedding Planner in the city, leaves a disastrous wedding early to make her yearly pilgrimage home to help with the town’s Bridlewood Creek Days event. Rather than returning to the city after the weekend to face her negative business partner, she decides to stay a few extra days. In doing so she reconnects to a greater extent with her aunt, high school best friend and love of horses. She also meets eligible cowboy/construction contractor/horse trainer Jack and his daughter Molly.

In the course of a week Evie begins to immerse herself back into the community and begins to evaluate her life to determine whether to resume her successful career in the city, or return to her life in Bridlewood, with or without a relationship with Jack.

Really enjoyed reading Coming Home to Bridlewood Creek! It's such a wholesome, heartwarming, cozy romance with kind characters, beautiful horses, and smalltown vibes! I found reading it just so relaxing and comfortable, and it made me happy and left me feeling good. No cursing. No sexy parts. Simple and easy to follow. Sometimes this is all I need in a book. Lots of parts made me nod in agreement and understanding, and chuckle a few times, too. I could envision it as a Hallmark movie, that I would definitely watch. I love that it is a local Ontario author, so for me it was also highly relatable. Definitely recommend, and suitable for all ages.

This series opener provides a very satisfying standalone, HEA story from a new to me author. I liked the premise, with big-city Evie returning home to straighten out her life and becoming involved with the people who watched her grow up. I liked, but was also frustrated by the way that Jack and Evie keep circling around each other, neither being willing to open up and be vulnerable to the other. This book is told in alternating points of view, which I'm not a huge fan of since it felt like doubling up at times, but it was nice to see how an action is viewed differently by the characters. This is book 1 and I would be happy to read book 2.

What a wonderful read. The characters and animals come alive and are like old friends. The horses, I feel as she describes them I too can feel their soft noses and am there in the moment too. I really enjoyed this book and I hope this series can continue. MS. Robins really does know and understands horses. It’s a nice warm cozy read that I highly recommend to anyone but especially to those who love horses.

I have enjoyed all of the author’s books, and this one had definitely joined that group! The characters were great, the story sweet, and the town a place you’d like to visit. I immediately got sucked into the story and found myself reading much later than planned wanting to know what happens next- the ‘just one more chapter before bed’ occurrence of a great book. Highly recommend!

I loved reading Evie and Jack’s story. There was a natural connection between them that just grew the more they were around each other. The entire plot was paced nicely with nothing feeling drawn out or rushed. Bridlewood Creek was a town full of people that I would want on my side as friends. The meddling little sister was the perfect touch on this heartfelt story.

I enjoyed the book. I didn't think the beginning of the book would end up becoming more of a small town romance novel but I enjoyed it. The relationship didn't seem too forced, and there is a good innocence to the relationship. I liked Evie spontaneity. 4.5 stars
