I think I read somewhere that this is Regular Show's first OGN and it certainly leaves you wanting for more. It's perfect for fans of the TV show but I'm not sure that you'll find it special if you don't already know the story. This novel follows the pattern of a regular Regular Show episode (pun intended): the guys do something stupid that leads into a monster following them around and our lovable heroes have to clean the mess by ending up destroying the park in the process (that park must really have regeneration powers).
One of the strengths of the show is that with ten-minute long episodes you don't have time to get bored because even if the episodes always follow the same formula, they are always enjoyable and there not extra minutes to fill. This comic has 160 pages which is a bit too many, like a twenty-minute long Regular Show episode. However, Rachel Connor knows the dynamics between the characters and executes them well, and Tessa Stone also draws the characters like in the TV show apart from a few expressions (which probably has more to do with the differences between live animation and the stillness of a comic.)
Overall, i'd recommend fans of the TV show to take a look at the comic.

This is only two stars because i feel like anything else is too high. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t ugly love hatred level, I just didn’t feel anything towards it.
It’s just not my type of comic. It felt very young, and the whole plot line was just white confusing.
I think if I had read this when I was a kid I would have really enjoyed it, it all reminded me of the 13 story treehouse book series, iykyk, but now at 14, it’s just not aimed for my age.
Another book of my tbr though, and another book towards my gr goal!

This graphic novel seems geared towards younger readers who specifically like gross-out humor, and since I'm not in that demographic I didn't really enjoy reading it. The dialog between the characters was a bit forced and odd at the beginning, but luckily by the end it felt more like natural banter that would happen in the original cartoon. Overall the story was entertaining enough that it held my focus which ironically enough, I can't even say for most of the comics I liked more than this one.

I am a huge fan of Regular Show. Was sad to see it go, but very happy that the characters live on in comic form. This GN, Hydration, plays like a 30 minute episode itself, and the humor is apparent throughout.
Summer weather so hot that even playing a snowman video game can't help you cool down, Mordecai and Rigby need to cool down. After wrecking Pops' inflatable pool and causing a sauna in the house, the boys go to sleep outside. Rigby wishes "Bring back the coolness" on what he thinks is a shooting star, and in the morning a waterpark has sprung up in the park. Awesome at first, but eventually revealing itself as a giant hydra monster, the crazy antics of the show come out and propel the story along at breakneck pace. Bring out Muscle Man and the baby ducks! LOL
I missed these guys...

Art style has too thick of black lines on their stripes and eyes. Never sounds quite like Rigby and isn't the clearest what's going on because it's so referential or untransitioned. The premise is basically just that they don't have good enough A/C so why don't they go to the fountain or lake on site? I thought this was gonna be like the cover and mean the park now expanded to have a water park. Takes too long for something like that to appear. The colors and wonky line work are just so bland, not right. Doesn't make sense if they're sweaty he wants to relax in a hot tub. The monsters just didn't feel Regular Showy. Cliffhanger lame. Won't read the finale sequel.

BOOM! does a great job with the REGULAR SHOW franchise of books, often getting original writers and artists from the show. It was fun to read a full length GN about these characters doing what they do best: Try to avoid work while ending up saving the world! Most of the voices held true to the cartoon. I would have like more POPS and SKIPS, but that is because they are my favorites. If you like water slides, mechanical dragons, or english tea, this is the book for you! OOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Somehow I managed to find a new low for comic books/graphic novels everywhere:Regular Show Hydration is by far the stupidest most uninspired work of garbage I've found to date.
In fact the only good thing I can say about this book is that it has a nice, zangy artstyle similar to the show's but different enough to stand it's own.
Unfortunately it cannot stand on it's own, as it has the worst writing I've ever seen for a graphic novel, and I've read some bad ones. Basically Mordecai and Rigby are expirencing the hottest summer ever and need to find a way to keep cool. Should be entertaining right? Well it isn't because it desprately tries to make you laugh with bottom of the barrel jokes that a two-year-old wouldn't find funny, and when it's not doing that it's grossly overexplaining itself.
It's truly cringeworthy.
That's not even to mention how oddly it jumps around just to force the story out longer in the most awkward ways it possibly can.
Regular Show Hydration is a terrible distater. I regret buying it and I suggest that any other fans ignore it.

Verdict: 26/100 - F
