Stranded!
Stranded was a very spicy quickie for sure and I loved every minute of it! Stepdad Jackson and stepson Aiden have unresolved issues they work through when they're stranded and I'm here for it all! This is a fast, fun, HOT read I definitely recommend!

This author always writes and puts out amazing books. Everything I have read by Gianni has been so good! She also writes in so many different troupes, which sets her stories apart. This was a short, spicy, kinky, and forbidden novella. I ate everything up about this delicious story. This had some great troupes like: Stepdad/Stepson, Cheating (Not Between MCS), Forced Proximity, Bi Awakening, and Kinky Spice. The spice in this was chef's kiss and spicing hard 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Even though this story was more smut than plot, I still think it had a great storyline and also had a dash of hurt/comfort. This did have some emotional aspects to it as well.
This story follows Aiden and Jackson. These two are stepfather/stepson and Jackson is married to Aiden's mom. They don't get along and they fight a lot. Aiden is always bringing hook-ups back to the house and that pisses off Jackson. Jackson doesn't like how Aiden dresses and parades around with so many different men. Aiden is a femme boy who likes to dress pretty and is unapologetically himself. He doesn't care, but his feelings are hurt. Jackson is an Ex-Marine who has many physical/mental scars. They all go to therapy which then leads to these two going on a camping trip in the Mojave desert to fix their relationship. The RV blows up and they get stranded. The danger and them trying to survive makes them get closer and air their dirty secrets. Things get heated and SPICY fast 🥵🥵. Their relationship changes and they both see they always had this tension and wanted each other. What will happen when they come back home to reality? What will the mother think when she finds out what these two have been up to? Can these two hold onto each other?
I really loved how these two were so feral and obsessed with one another. They were also possessive. The chemistry and tension were off the charts 🥵🥵. The spice was spicing hard and so kinky. The dirty talk was everything 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Besides these two being completely feral sexually, they also had some great vulnerable moments. I love how Aiden accepted and loved all of Jackson's scars and flaws. I loved seeing Jackson realize how badly he hurt Aiden and make up for it. I loved seeing the struggles both characters dealed with and how they supported each other. Seeing these two fully accept each other as they are was everything. Aiden was so fiesty and bratty. His daddy knew how to tame him very well 😈. I didn't like the mom and especially how she viewed Jackson. Glad she left 😂. I definitely recommend this spicy story. Now I'm off to read the taboo version 😉😏😈.

Stranded was such an addictive read, quick, spicy, emotionally charged with plenty of tension and a surprisingly engaging storyline underneath all the heat. Aiden and Jackson’s relationship starts off messy, angry, and complicated, and the constant clashes between them made it impossible to look away.
What really worked for me was how the forced proximity and survival situation slowly peeled back all the resentment and misunderstandings between them. Beneath all the arguments and power struggles, there’s clearly years of hurt, frustration, and buried feelings neither of them knows how to deal with. Watching that shift from hostility into something much more intense was seriously compelling.
The chemistry between them was undeniable, and the tension absolutely delivered. At the same time, I appreciated that the story gave both characters room to be vulnerable and grow beyond their first impressions of each other.

Now this was a hot, sexy, and filthy novella. It has all the forbidden elements I enjoy, and it was just really entertaining to read.
Aiden and Jackson don’t have a great relationship as stepson/stepfather; they are constantly arguing, especially because Jackson dislikes the way Aiden dresses and expresses himself in a more feminine way. They are forced to bond over a one-week camping trip, and there they figure things out.
This was just like I was hoping, a fun, sexy, and thrilling read. They figure out how to work with each other and are able to open more about themselves and their relationship. There is cheating in it, and while it comes from all the parties, I feel like it was done in a way that fit the narrative of the story; it wasn’t completely brushed off. How both are obsessed with each other was the cherry on top. Like it a lot!!

So I should start off by saying that I read the taboo version of this book, which is basically the same only "taboo". Lol
This was a spicy quick read that really packed a lot of filthy heat in a short space - and by filthy I mean hot, dirty, steamy and a little bit of angst. I could totally see how Aiden and his father built a wall between them, for basically the same reasons. I felt for both of them because, at the core of everything, they just wanted to have a relationship with each other and their unplanned attraction was a real hindrance. I thought the resolution with "mom" was a bit too easy and quick, but, then again, this is a novella and she really wasn't crucial to the storyline.
All in all, it was a fun read - don't expect any deep philosophical meaning - and I enjoyed it.

I know that Gianni said this was erotica, but I thought there was a surprising amount of plot and I ate it up! Aiden lives with his mum and stepdad Jackson, an injured retired marine. He and Jackson just don’t see eye to eye at all, Jackson demeans him about being gay, being femme and being a slut. As a last ditch attempt to bury the hatchett, Aiden and Jackson go on a trip camping in an RV. When disaster strikes and they become stranded, Aiden learns that Jackson may not hate him as much as he thought!
This was spicy, fun and quick to read. I enjoyed their dynamic, the enemies to lovers arc and the dynamic between these two was 🔥. Well worth a read!

I love Aiden. Hes such a feisty character who is confident in himself and goes after what he wants. I loved reading the push and pull in their relationship and seeing them work it out. This is a steamy read with a bit of action/ danger from the elements thrown in alongside it. Aiden was so confident in who he was and, underneath it all, Jackson was the perfect fit for him. They had insanely hot chemistry together and an unconventional path to their HEA but I'm still glad they got there in the end. Overall, a short, steamy read with two interesting characters.

I don’t care how depraved the TW list is for Gianni Holmes’ book is, I’m reading it. Stranded is no exception. This stepfather-stepson story should have been too taboo to read, but it wasn’t. Yes, there was cheating involved but somehow it worked. I love that Gianni can make us clutch our pearls while reading the book blurb, and then we follow along with her rationale behind the taboo acts, merrily skipping into the morally gray area. Fun, deliciously deviant read.

Aiden and his stepdad Jackson are at each other's throats constantly. Aiden is too fem and sleeps around. Jackson is too bossy and calls him accusatory names. Really it's all about the lust and attraction they have for each other. They fight until they explode with passion, always remembering Jackson is still married to Aiden's mom. It's hot and nasty. Kink, check! Taboo, check! Erotica, check! What a fun novella! Although sited as erotica, does still have story to it and makes sense, doesn't rush. Very smexy. The mum was a bit odd though. Recommended short read to give your break a tantalising break.

I liked it even though the book contains the two words I personally dislike, I’m thankful for the heads up that they’re in there. Aside from that there is some serious spice going on in here and I’m eagerly awaiting the next book too thanks to that teaser.

Has all my favorite tropes and Gianni writes them all in a way that's so addictive: cheating, forbidden (pseudo step-cest), feminization, forced proximity. This was meant to be a quick short read, and I have read the full cest version on smashwords, but I still want more and wish it can be expanded.

There hasn't been a book yet by Holmes I haven't just devoured! This short and SPICY read was amazing! I loved how sassy and sure of himself Aiden was! And How Jackson tried ( and failed) to resist him! All that fighting was just to cover the lust he left for his stepson! Ugh! So good!

I absolutely loved this story. This was an extremely spicy and emotional story. These two were explosive in every way possible. Please mind the trigger warnings though because this story is definitely not for the faint of heart.

I love everything Gianni writes, and this one was no exception. Equally spicy and sweet in turn, with all the emotions and spice you expect from her no matter which name she's writing under.

I don’t really know how i feel about this. On one side, I didn’t really like it. Especially the rushed ending and how conveniently the problem with the mother got resolved. But on the other hand... oh boy, that was hot. Scorching, forbidden age gap between a step-son and his step-father. I ate that shit up, and I'm considering this to be one of my guilty pleasures.
