Another awesome entry in this series. I like the delving into Des' new mana capabilities. That plus more secret squirrel stuff were a nice diversion while he waits for his deployment orders. I don't want to get into too much for spoilers, but the story does progress some of the plot threads from earlier in the series.

Another excellent book from M. Tress, although I do have one complaint... When are you releasing the next book. I would recommend this book to anyone 18+
