Deadly Reckoning
We haven’t been out of the Choosing for very long, and already we’re running into more complications.
Facing Dimitri will not be easy, but when an old friend shows up and explains the situation, I have to talk to him even if I won't allow myself to believe what I've been told.
Then there’s Pete, who we still have to try to locate.
The blue fucker is attacking at any opportunity, and according to Winston, there is something in Ireland that we need to find.
I’m more than happy to head back to House, and I know that we’re probably safer there than anywhere else. The idea is even more perfect when it turns out that in order to make the wards, Ransom needs an ingredient that only the Gargoyles have.
Unbound Retribution
House has more secrets than we anticipated, but as usual, it’s not the only thing that we have to deal with. In fact, it’s at the bottom of the pile.
Allies emerge from the most unexpected places, while our new magic from the Choosing begins to make itself known, magic that is not what we expected it to be.
Even the Spirit Guides don’t have the answers, which can’t be a good thing.
Oh, and the Voices, the ones that are those of the dead, yeah, they aren't, and if they aren't the voices of the dead then what or who are they?
We finally uncover some long-anticipated answers, but with those answers come a whole new set of questions.
Fractured Lore
Baz is a surprise that none of us were really expecting. Thankfully, he seems to fit in like he's always been a part of our team. The more I learn about him, the more intrigued I become.
Winston and the spirit guides are still being cagey, and we all know that they're hiding something. I'm just not sure that we want to deal with that too.
Dimitri, well, he's proving to be even more shocking than he usually is, and I have no idea how to deal with it. The same goes for Zephyr, hell knows what he's up to.
When we find ourselves with the Gargoyles sooner than we thought, even more unexpected things get thrown at us.
Then there's Pete.
I don't even know where to start with him.

Top 3 best series I’ve ever read. I always re read the series when a new book comes out and I had been debating waiting until book 10 came out before I re read the series for book 9. I had been in a book slump. Couldn’t find anything that truly held my attention long enough for me to even remember the main characters names. So I decided to dive in. Thankfully these omnibuses came out. Which I freaken Love. Especially when a small character mentioned in the previous first books is mentioned again sporadically near the end of the series.
This is so good. Honestly, you won’t regret reading these books. Nikita just hooks you in with her somewhat broken, but glued back together characters. Gives you enough information but no direct answers. I’m not a fan of how much the characters validate each others questions, and brings up all the other topics that they reiterate they had questions on. I’m talking like dozens of times this happens. It’s repeated enough it got annoying. Maybe it’s perfect for other readers who need that reminder. Otherwise it’s a great series. I could re read this series a 100 times and not get tired of reading it.

OMG That Bonus Chapter
Nikita I love you and your writing is amazing. But if you could make book ten a bit longer so I can survive longer spells without Nieth I would appreciate it. Because I never want the books to end. You are so talented!!!!
