Overall 3.8/5. Spice 4/5. The book opens with Gabby finding out her “perfect” boyfriend cheated on her with his sister. 🤨 (don’t know how that ties into anything) Isaac has been screwed over by his wife Kylee for years. She’s abusive and a serial cheater. She is not a good mother to their 3 children. Once he decides he is through and sends divorce papers that she won’t sign, he meets Gabby (younger newly admitted Harvard business student). They have amazing chemistry that Gabby resists as she doesn’t want to be involved with a married man. Gabby is kidnapped by the ex and then allows herself to open up to Isaac. He gets his kids back and divorced. He goes to shut down the gang that helped Kylee and returns to Gabby for their HEA.

Another One Bites the Dust

Well, Jamila Jasper, did it again. Isaac, “Ghost “, and Gabrielle, “Gabby” or perfect for each other from the beginning. I love the fact that when they met, they had an instant connection and no matter how much Gabby fought it, she knew that Ghost was the one for her. Ghost proved to Gabby that he do, whatever was necessary to protect her and to prove his love for her. He proved that no one was going to come between them, and that they would have their happy ending. Jamila wove this story together in such a beautiful way, and she proved that yet another Rebel Barbarian found the right “old lady” that was meant to be his forever. This story was truly beautiful, and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

Just reading the beginning of the book…

I decided not to read this one just like the last one I not interested in the direction it’s going. I’m definitely looking forward to JJ getting back to her other genres all this rallying and politics is more than I want from any author unless that’s what I was looking for off rip.
