Very sexy, short read. I liked that the main characters had known each other for years, so there was no insta-love. Just a growly, jealous alpha male finally giving in to his best friend's younger brother. Loved it!

Very sweet, very sexy, very well written :-)! This was way too short ... but what it did pack, it did so wonderfully :-)! Very enjoyable little read. If the author decides to do a full length follow-up with these men, I'd definitely read it :-)!!

P.S. I have to say I am irked that some are rating this little novella badly just because it's too short ... ummm ... you knew how short it was when you started reading it :-/! Being openminded and subsequently disappointed is one thing, but to know you'll dislike something and read it anyway, just to rate it badly makes absolutely no sense to me. It's like reading an M/M book and being angry it's M/M ... hmmmm, what?!? In fact, if you wanted more, wouldn't you rate it more fairly, considering the fact that you wanted MORE?!!? I am not criticizing honest opinion, if you don't like something then you don't like it, I of all people am definitely going to tell you to rate true to yourself :-)! But I mean, be fair and decent about it. It's not the book's fault it was too short ... it's a novella ... it's just not going to read like a full length book. Do I think it should have been longer? Yes! Am I bummed that the end was a bit abrupt? Yes! Am I surprised that it was so short? No! I knew it was 20+ pages and expected it to be exactly what it was; short and sweet :-)!!

Short and....hot?
Kinda silly dialogue and cheesy in places, but for a 10 minute read, it was okay.

It felt too flat, even for a story this short.
There was no natural evolution, it was literally a jump from a no to a yes (and not in the classiest of ways, bordering on creepy).
Then cut to the epilogue? What even?
Sad, because the premise had potential. It was just not well executed.
I'm just relieved it was free and I didn't have to spare a single cent in it. But still, I'm not happy.

Wait for the one you really love!
AJ Ridges received a challenge from a reader to write, edit and publish a book in 24 hours, and, well, here it is! Proof! It can be done!
The main characters were endearing, and I would love to see AJ develop this short story into a full-length novel. I want to read more about these two. That last bit would be an excellent epilogue! I SO wanted it stretched out into something longer and even more delicious!

I want to say being just 20 pages possibly worked against this story.
If it wasn't for the fact we were told numerous times about the age gap & who these two were the story could of been about anyone. M/M....well if you say so....could've easily been M/F.
Also....is this seriously a thing when there is an age gap...the whole calling another man "boy" just cause he's younger than you? Cause in this story it doesn't come off even a little sexy...

Just what I was looking for. A short read. Liked that it was an author challenge and wanted to see if it was successful. I'd say it was. I'll read more by this author.

Too short.
I love the possessive tone of this and the brother's best friend/best friend's brother trope is one of my favorites. I've enjoyed previous short stories from this author, but this one just needs more to be a really good story. Or less, to be a true quickie erotic read. The balance is just off and the end result is honestly forgettable.

Loved this short, sexy, sweet age gap romance. Drew has always wanted Kane, his older brothers friend. Kane has always told Drew he was too young for him. Tonight Drew turns 25 and he's tired of Kane's rejection. Liked the ending.

A love story of two friends and that is the bases of this story really. I do love how the writer really trys to make you feel like you are there with main characters. finding love is hard and showing it could be even harder, this story shows you that.
