Bliss Weston is a gorgeous twenty-five-year-old who never had a fear in the world until she was fourteen. She witnessed something so traumatic that it made her hate the very thing that has controlled her town since before she was born. Motorcycle gangs. Bliss hates them and anyone affiliated with them. To her they were like a cancer that no amount of chemo could control. All she wanted to do was work hard, complete her goal of taking over her family business and her relationship with her boyfriend Grant Astor. But everything changes when the one place Bliss has comfort in is taken over by The King Riders. The president, Renee Harlow, is not one to be tried. He is thirty years old, reckless and the sexiest man Bliss had ever seen. His presence makes the world beneath her tremble, and she must try her best not to lose control. Drew Wells is Bliss’s best friend. Her free-spirit, contagious personality and ridiculous curvaceous body make her the total package. Drew comes from a loving family, but her parents are not so supportive of her life’s choices. Especially her mom, respected Detective Amy Wells. Amy thinks her daughter is wasting her life on mediocre decisions and even less mediocre men. Which is why Drew will shock her family when she falls for Kobe Owens. He is vice president of The King Riders and every kind of trouble that is not good for Drew. Not to mention she has an ex-boyfriend named Kellan who will not give up their dead relationship. This standalone is one that will excite you and leave you wanting more with each page turn. Both ladies have choice, either ride with their alluring biker men or risk losing them to fear and judgment.
Slow burn for me. I thought we were going into another book. When Lillie was being hardheaded and Jovan was going to get her and who knows when or if she’d reappear and when Grant abused and threw Bliss in that car, I said ohh this won’t be done no time soon, but look at gawd. The way Renee and Kobe don’t play about those they love and care for, is everything. They are very honest men as well. If they say it, they mean it. Drew and Bliss are great besties. Honest and true to one another. It took a long round-about to get where they needed to be and against a lot of people’s wishes, they prevailed.
Bliss plucked every nerve I had 😒 She knew she didn’t want Grant, but yet she continued to stay with him. & for what reason?? That man wasn’t doing nothing for her & had no problem being shady & talking down on her. I wasn’t rocking with how she was doing Renee. He deserved better. He deserved someone to choose him & love him out loud. It took Bliss until the 90-95% mark of the book before she decided she was all in with Renee. I loved Drew & Kobe and really only continued to read for them.

I enjoyed Drew and Kobe so much. I wanted Bliss & Renee to have a romantic relationship outside of what they were just “doing”, like Drew and Kobe since they were considered the main characters. It took Bliss 93% of the book to make a decision and that’s where I lost interest in her and Renee’s story. Kobe was a romantic man and I appreciated him and Drew carrying this book and the depth of their characters.
I liked the book and storyline a lot , and normally I’m not a stickler for typos but this book had a lot !!! Other than that it was good quick read . Bliss was getting on my nerves with her indecisiveness . I loved Renee, Drew and Kobe though .
Loved loved Bliss and Drew, how they met their new partners and through everything eventually ended up with them. So happy Grant and Jovan got what they deserved, wish his father did too. Would love a follow up.
