~ I’m Bettina Tanzer, innocent baker and accidental werewolf...if I survive~
The vicious rogue werewolf who wanted me bound and enslaved has taken Reeve, the sexy alpha prime who ushered me into this sensual, dangerous world. Now I am Reeve’s only chance. But first I must find his pack of solitary alpha males, hidden in the mountains. They are going to hate me for betraying their alpha prime and leaving him in a madman’s claws, but I’ll do anything—anything—to save him.
Even if it means embracing the wildness I never knew I wanted...
Caught is the third episode of HEART OF THE PACK, a paranormal shapeshifter BBW romance serial in eight parts. The stories contain adult language and graphic sexual situations with a dominant alpha male seeking a mate for his pack. Rated M for mature and W for wild readers only.
I grew up reading SFF, buying the biggest books I could with my chore money. While I loved the action, adventure, and exciting worlds, most of those stories were missing…kissing! Now I read and write paranormal romance and science fiction romance which I think mix the best of all worlds. I also write urban fantasy romance as Jessa Slade and sexy contemporary romance as Jenna Dales.
I spend most of my time at my computer thinking about stories, in my garden thinking about stories, or walking my dog thinking about stories. Hmm, I think there’s a theme… 🙂
Bettina escapes the clutches of Lysander and his evil pack of rogue mongrel, but she has to leave an injured Reeve behind. Meeting up with Reeve's pack, however, she's faced with some uncomfortable choices: does she join their pack? Does she serve as a balance to the pack and their needs? Can they rescue Reeve, and is he still even alive?
This third part introduces new characters into the story, and again, the author uses a shifting first-person narrative for the new characters, which I enjoyed.
Kindle Unlimited cliffhanger book in series. When she finds his clan, things heat up and get complicated. Miss Reeves in this book. Things are kinky in this book and a little confusing.
Please see my reviews in books 1 & 2. A thoroughly enjoyable series that I read the first 3 straight through. Holding book 4 until book 5 is done being written!
