About the author

Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.

Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.

Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. The stories are generated in her heart, the craft is practiced in her mind, and she expresses her passion through ink.

Hmmmmmm

This had potential … the bones are there … just too much going on that’s not making sense … although it’s a cliffhanger I’m actually going to leave this story here …. This story contains some very weird sexual themes- beastiality is mentioned just be mindful and take care of yourself if you read

A Lowdown Kinda Love by A Lowdown Kinda Love had me in a chokehold from the very first page! Jade Jones delivered EVERYTHING — passion, drama, raw emotion, and a love story so intense it felt real. The chemistry between the characters was absolutely electric, and every chapter left me wanting more.

This book is the perfect mix of street love, vulnerability, loyalty, and heartbreak. Just when I thought I knew what was coming, the plot hit me with another twist! The emotional depth of these characters made me laugh, stress, cry, and fall in love right alongside them.

Jade Jones has a way of painting scenes so vividly that you feel like you’re living inside the story. The writing flowed effortlessly, and the tension between the characters was off-the-charts addictive. This wasn’t just a book — it was an EXPERIENCE.

If you love hood romance with real emotion, unforgettable characters, and a storyline that keeps your heart racing, then this is a MUST READ. I’m still thinking about these characters long after turning the last page. Definitely a 5-star masterpiece!”

This Was something there was a lot going on in a short amount of time I’m going to read the next one just simply because I want to know what’s going to happen but to call this a romance is a stretch. Lowdown is awful. and rare is very very very naïve. I’ve also noticed in Jade Jones books She throws in kinks or like sexual things that are really really off for me. There’s somebody who is into beastiality, and that’s not OK ever like I don’t wanna read that I don’t wanna read about a person like that. And then the scene at the end with Rare and her half brother i just……yikes

Am so mad right now, because Rare don't deserve this while just beginning a relationship with lowdown. Am pissed at her perverted brother already knowing what's gonna happen to him when Rodrick finds out. I can't be mad at Gunna for wanting to take out his friend for betrayal. OMG it's a lot.

Listen this book was sooo good! Lowdown is definitely lowdown. The ending left me on edge and wanting to more! If I could give this book 5 more stars I would!
